No, Elizabeth Warren didn’t kick herself in the Chalupa, this was two men of Indian ancestry (the country) involved in a verbal altercation that ended in a hate crime charge. Recently we brought you a Hispanic-on-Hispanic hate crime but this one is much funnier.
An August 21 in Fremont, California Krishnan Jayaraman was ordering at a Taco Bell when 37-year-old Singh Tejinder entered. Tejinder began immediately verbally abusing Jayaraman and a Taco Bell employee called the police. Jayaraman was able to capture some of the tirade on video:
In the video, Tejinder called Jayaraman a “dirty Hindu,” a “disgusting dog,” and insulted the former Indian Prime Minster by saying, “F*ck Indira Gandhi, n*gga!”
In a Facebook post, the Freemont Police Department reported that they showed up at the Taco Bell and separated the two men. First they interviewed Jayaraman, who told officers that Tejinder said mean things to him. The officers escorted Jayaraman to his car and then interviewed Tejinder who admitted to officers that he said mean things.
The police concluded that Tejinder, “used extremely offensive and hurtful language” towards Jayaraman but that no hate crime occurred because Tejinder didn’t make any physical threats, just shit-talked.
Tejinder was released without charges and that was seemingly the end of it. The Freemont PD went back and started thinking that maybe there was a hate crime after all. They changed course and charged Tejinder with a hate crime because he used, “religious slurs and derogatory comments.”
In fact, the Alameda County DA charged Tejinder with hate crime in violation of civil rights, assault, and disturbing the peace by offensive language. In the charging document, Tejinder was listed as “Asian/Indian.”
They still never arrested Tejinder, they just put him on double-secret probation and told him when to come to court. Sure, it was a hate crime but he’s still a minority so it would be racist to arrest and jail him.
Listen, Tejinder seems like a real piece of shit but there’s no hate crime here. He didn’t assault Jayaraman nor did he use any racial, ethnic, or religious slurs. “Dirty” isn’t a slur, it’s an assessment of one’s hygiene. I mean, I guess he used the N-word but Jayaraman isn’t black so I don’t think that’s the reason behind the hate crime charge.
The cops have essentially arrested and charged Tejinder with being an asshole. If being an asshole is a hate crime, we’re going to need a bigger prison system. Can you imagine if cops started arresting people in Philadelphia for being assholes?
If the cops are looking for a hate crime at Taco Bell, how about the fact they are charging 10 bucks (at least in Cali) for their 5 Dollar Box? And if you think about it, that’s because of Biden’s inflation. Joe Biden should be charged with a hate crime for disparaging Mexican fast food. Plus his wife said all Hispanics are “tacos.”
In this age of wokeness, we’re getting Hispanic-on-Hispanic and Indian-on-Indian hate crimes. This the kind of thing that is going on as the liberal media alarms everyone with news that hate crimes are on the rise. If an Indian guy calling another Indian guy “dirty” is the worst thing going on, it’s safe to assume hatred and racism aren’t that much of a problem in this country.
