Chicago’s incompetent Mayor Lori Lightfoot has been caught busing “migrants” out of sight into suburban areas after saying she would welcome illegal border crossers with open arms.
Remember, the illegals were sent to Chicago on buses by Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who is battling Washington D.C. democrats communists for their failure to act on the border crisis.

Lightfoot was found to be transporting [illegals] to a Chicago suburb without telling the local mayor.
However, Lightfoot has slammed Governor Abbott for doing the exact same thing—sending migrants north without coordinating with her office.
Burr Ridge Mayor Gary Grasso told WGN:
I am concerned neither the village administrator nor I were told about this.
We want to know: Why Burr Ridge?
Lightfoot exclaimed after the first bus load of illegals arrived in Chicago:
My frustration comes from the actions of the governor of Texas.
There could be a level of coordination and cooperation, but he chooses to do none of those things and instead tries to send human beings—not cargo, not freight—human beings across the country to an uncertain destination.
Illinois’ democrat communist Governor Pritzker said previously:
What the governor of Texas is doing is disgusting and it needs to stop.
It shouldn’t be that the governor of Texas is taking these people and treating them like cattle, treating them like property, putting them on busses and sending them wherever he wants to send them.
The state is working with our partners at the City of Chicago and Cook County along with advocacy organizations to welcome those seeking asylum in the United States and provide them stability as they work to build a new life in Illinois.
The state has a prior relationship with the hotel being used in the suburbs and their staff has done amazing work welcoming refugees and asylum seekers before, so it is interesting that local officials are choosing this specific instance to gripe to the press about this specific group of asylum seekers that consists of about 30 families.
Gov. Pritzker has made it clear that Illinois is a welcoming state and xenophobia has no home here.
A spokesperson from the Village of Burr Ridge told NBC 5:
On Wednesday, September 7, the Village of Burr Ridge learned that 64 refugees, among many bussed to Chicago from Texas, were transported from the Salvation Army Shield of Hope in Chicago and assigned to temporary hotel housing in Burr Ridge.
Neither Village elected officials nor staff were consulted or contacted about this decision and we are now gathering information to keep our community updated.
According to WGN:
Chicago is a so-called sanctuary city and so is Cook County. Local officials have passed laws meant to protect immigrants from deportation.
However, the portion of Burr Ridge where many of the migrants are staying is actually in DuPage County.
Mayor of the Village of Burr Ridge, Gary Grasso (R)—while campaigning for Congress (Illinois 6th Congressional District–he lost)—said he would work to secure the border and “defund sanctuary cities.” However, Grasso noted his village board had not taken a position on sanctuary cities.
Grasso said he became aware of the migrants’ arrival in his village only after residents began alerting village officials.
He has since been invited to an online meeting with state officials.
Final thought: Necessary pay offs, of course, were not yet made. Elected Republicans must object until untraceable funds are exchanged. Residents be damned. Nothing further to see here.
