Biden’s Justice Department Indicts 11 Pro-Life Protesters

Democrats claim that protesting is our most sacred right but that only applies to burning down police stations, looting Walmarts, and attacking liberal Supreme Court Justices. Joe Biden’s Justice Department just indicted 11 pro-life protesters who demonstrated outside of a Tennessee abortion clinic. Too bad they didn’t try to destroy a federal courthouse instead, they would have faced no charges and been heralded as heroes.

In their continuing war against political enemies, the Biden administration announced the arrest of 11 pro-life protesters in a statement:

A federal indictment unsealed today charges 11 individuals with violations of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act.

Chester Gallagher, Heather Idoni, Calvin Zastrow, Coleman Boyd, Caroline Davis, Paul Vaughn, Dennis Green, Eva Edl, Eva Zastrow, James Zastrow and Paul Place were indicted for federal offenses in connection with an alleged reproductive health care clinic blockade in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, on March 5, 2021. Gallagher, Idoni, Calvin Zastrow, Boyd, Davis, Vaughn and Dennis Green were charged with a civil rights conspiracy. All 11 defendants were charged with a Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (FACE Act) offense.

Most of the accused are retired senior citizens, with some in their late 70s. Biden sure got a dangerous gang off the streets, didn’t he?

According to the DoJ release, 73-year-old Chester Gallagher used social media to “conspire” with the others to schedule anti-abortion protests in the Nashville area. One of these protests was on March 5, 2021 in front of the Carafem Health Center Clinic in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. Gallagher referred to this protest as a “rescue” while the DoJ called it a “blockade.”

The DoJ alleges that Gallagher and his “co-conspirators” stopped a clinic employee from entering as well as a woman who was seeking an abortion. As an even greater injustice, Gallagher allegedly referred to the woman as a “mom coming to kill her baby.”

Apparently it’s a federal crime to make an obvious statement of fact.

Nowhere in the DoJ statement does it say that this group of elderly pro-lifers actually stopped someone from entering the abortion clinic or from getting an abortion. As far as I can tell, the protesters were standing in front of the clinic and people had to walk through or around them. Also, how hard is it to get through a group of old people? It’s not like they are the Pittsburgh Steelers “Steel Curtain” defense.

These protesters have been charged with violating the FACE Act, which makes it a federal crime to physically stop someone from entering an abortion clinic. Again, there’s no evidence they did this. These pro-lifers are now facing 11 years in jail and fines of up to $350,000.

Meanwhile, pro-abortion group Jane’s Revenge has carried out at least 17 attacks on Christian birthing centers, churches, and other pro-life organizations. The DoJ has made exactly zero arrests in those cases.

Additionally, it is a federal crime to harass a Supreme Court Justice and his or her family, but the DoJ also made no arrests when lefty pro-abortionists assailed conservative SCOTUS Justices at their homes.

This arrest comes on the heels of Biden’s Justice Department sending an FBI SWAT team to arrest pro-life activist Mark Houck for defending his 12-year-old son from a crazy pro-abortion extremist. I wonder if the the DoJ took down the Tennessee protesters with tactical assault teams as well.

Violent crime is out of control in this country but Biden’s Justice Department is focusing their efforts on dealing with the scourge of people who stand up for the rights of the unborn. The reason for this is because they have declared war on everyone who doesn’t share their wacko leftist ideology.
