Liberal legal scholar Alan Dershowitz made the case that the Department of Justice (DOJ) needs to prosecute Hunter Biden if the Feds want to “credibly” indict President Donald Trump.

Dershowitz was responding to reports that the DOJ now has enough evidence to charge the wayward Biden son with tax and gun crimes.
However, as Slay News reported:
[T]he case now rests on the U.S. Attorney in Delaware, who must decide whether or not to charge Hunter Biden.
As Dershowitz points out, the Feds can’t go after Trump without any credibility if they ignore the charges against the younger Biden.
Dershowitz said on Newsmax:
I’ll tell you the man who should be most interested in assuring that Biden does not get prosecuted, and it’s not Joe Biden, it’s Donald Trump.
Unless they indict Biden Jr., they will not credibly be able to indict Trump, but if they indict Hunter, Garland can say, ‘look how fair we are. We didn’t go after Trump. We indicted the…and we indicted the man who is going to be running against [him]. Fair is fair.’

[F]ederal agents leaked that they now have enough to charge Hunter Biden.
The charges likely to be brought against Hunter are tax and gun charges.
The leaking from the DOJ suggests that agents are trying to pressure prosecutors into pursuing charges.
Chris Clark, a lawyer for Hunter Biden, slammed investigators over the leaks.
Clark said:
It is a federal felony for a federal agent to leak information about a Grand Jury investigation such as this one.
Any agent you cite as a source in your article apparently has committed such a felony.
We expect the Department of Justice will diligently investigate and prosecute such bad actors.
As is proper and legally required, we believe the prosecutors, in this case, are diligently and thoroughly weighing not just evidence provided by agents, but also all the other witnesses in this case, including witnesses for the defense.
That is the job of the prosecutors.
They should not be pressured, rushed, or criticized for doing their job.

Federal agents investigating [Joe-Joe] Biden’s son Hunter have gathered what they believe is sufficient evidence to charge him with tax crimes and a false statement related to a gun purchase, according to people familiar with the case.
The next step is for the U.S. Attorney in Delaware, a Trump administration holdover, to decide on whether to file such charges, these people said.
Over time, investigators with multiple agencies focused closely on whether he did not report all of his income, and whether he lied on gun purchase paperwork in 2018, according to the people familiar with the situation, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing case.
Final thoughts: I do not believe the question of whether to charge Hunter Biden is connected to the question of whether to charge President Trump. The Feds have not demonstrated concern for “credibility” in nearly two years. Many of their actions up to this point speak of an absence of credibility. What’s another arrest without credibility?
Afterall, enraging We the People, Trump supporters into committing actions of False Flag caliber is their goal, yes?
