Here’s Some Statistical Proof the 2022 Midterms Were A Load Of Crap

Joe Biden’s approval rating is in the toilet and the party of a first term president always loses tons of Congressional seats but 2022, which was supposed to be a Red Wave, only provided modest gains for Republicans. Biden’s win in the 2020 presidential election was full of anomalies, which is the nice way to say it stunk to high hell, and the 2022 midterms smell just as crappy.

Approval rating is the key to a president’s party losing seats in his first midterm. Let’s take a look at the past few presidents’ popularity and how his party did after 2 years in office.

Bill Clinton’s approval rating in 1994 was 46% and democrats lost 52 House seats and 8 Senate seats

George W. Bush’s approval rating in 2002 was 66% and Republicans actually gained 8 House seats and 2 Senate seats.

Barack Obama’s approval rating in 2010 was 45% and democrats lost 63 House seats and 6 Senate seats.

Donald Trump’s approval rating in 2018 was 41% and Republicans lost 40 House seats but picked up 2 Senate seats.

As you can see, if a president’s approval rating is bellow 50%, his party takes a beating in the first term midterms. In fact, even presidents who were immensely popular got pummeled in their first midterms, with George W. Bush being the only one to actually gain seats.

Which brings us to Joe Biden. His approval rating is kindly estimated at 38%, which is the lowest for a first-term president at the midterms in anyone who is alive right now’s lifetime.

The best-case scenario for the 2022 midterms is that Republicans flip 6 or 7 House seats, gaining a slight majority, and maybe holding on to their 50/50 Senate split. How is that even remotely possible?

The answer to that is: it isn’t. It is literally impossible for a president who has done as shitty of a job as Joe Biden has to have relatively carnage-free midterm election like this. History and the stats don’t lie, but democrats sure do.

Everyone one from the liberal media to the the democrats themselves were bracing for an ass-whooping but then again maybe the democrats were just pretending because they knew the fix was in. I think what we are seeing with the 2022 midterms and the 2020 presidential election is that the democrats have figured out how to rig the system in their favor.

Just like 2020, in 2022 all of the key races democrats have to win seem to have issues counting votes and reporting results in a timely fashion. Remember when election results were in by Wednesday morning? That’s a thing of the past because it takes time make sure Republican winners loose.

Are we supposed to believe Joe Biden, an unremarkable 80-year-old kook with dementia and a track record of failure, is so dynamic that he can buck history and do well in his first midterm elections? Especially given his low approval rating and the general anger of the American people at democrats for completely screwing everything up?

It doesn’t make a lick of sense and the only explanation for the Republican 2022 midterm underperformance is that democrats have once again cheated.
