Trump Endorses New Replacement For McConnell

President Trump, during a phone interview with former Fox News host Glenn Beck’s Blaze Media news program, confirmed he would back Florida Senator Rick Scott as a potential challenger for McConnell.

Time has come for American Conservatives to be released from their burden of Mitch McConnell wastefully filling a leadership position in the U.S. Senate.

Yes, he pushed through to confirmation each of President Trump’s selections for the Supreme Court, but the old adage of ‘What have you done for me lately?’ comes to mind. And McConnell has not done much of anything for Conservatism lately. In fact, as if he has somehow been compromised, he has done more harm than good for the goals of Conservatism.

McConnell has held his Senate seat since 1985. He served as Senate Minority Leader from 2007-2015, then Majority Leader 2015-2021, and again as Minority Leader since 2021. But the results of his leadership have been analogous to that of a backseat automobile driver. The vehicle reaches a destination, but the destination is not where We the People want to be.

Trump stated that Scott would be a better option than McConnell. He also proceeded to say that he knows both McConnell and his wife, who he called “CoCo Chao,” well and that he was not a fan of them.

Trump has previously criticized McConnell and even made racist remarks about his wife Elaine Chao.

While there are many races that have not yet been called, the disappointing performance during the midterm elections by GOP candidates has led to many casting blame in many different directions.

Republicans are still expected to win the House, but their victory margin is expected to be much smaller than originally anticipated.

Some have been blaming Trump for the party’s performance, noting that a number of his endorsed candidates failed to win important battleground states. This includes Dr. Mehmet Oz who did not win against Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman in the Pennsylvania Senate Race as well as all secretary of state Trump-endorsed candidates in swing states.

Trump on the other hand has blamed the GOP leadership, including McConnell, for these results.

Bottom line, however, the democrats communists seem to have control of the voting machines and Republicans don’t seem intent on demanding the proper responses to what are obviously stolen elections.

Each questionable election result should be challenged and McConnell is neither leading nor involved at all in that effort. In fact, he was silent for all practical purposes following the stolen 2020 presidential election and also for the state of Georgia handing Ossoff and Warnock their senate seats behind a vote that should have been questioned.

Final thought: Joseph Stalin once spoke profoundly concerning the power of vote counters. He is quoted as having said: “It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.”
