When the The NY Post broke the Hunter Biden laptop story prior to the 2020 presidential election, it should have derailed Joe Biden’s campaign. Social media and the liberal press sprung into action and portrayed the story as Russian disinformation to protect Joe but now that it can’t hurt his chances, they are quietly admitting it was a real story. More than 2 years too late, CBS just reveled that Hunter’s laptop is 100% legit.

Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say
More than 50 former senior intelligence officials have signed on to a letter outlining their belief that the recent disclosure of emails allegedly belonging to Joe Biden’s son “has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”
The letter, signed on Monday, centers around a batch of documents released by the New York Post last week that purport to tie the Democratic nominee to his son Hunter’s business dealings. Under the banner headline “Biden Secret E-mails,” the Post reported it was given a copy of Hunter Biden’s laptop hard drive by President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, who said he got it from a Mac shop owner in Delaware who also alerted the FBI.
The FBI also had a copy of the hard drive but for some reason didn’t seem interested in verifying it.
Just about a year ago, more than one year too late, The New York Times finally got around to acknowledging that Hunter’s laptop wasn’t Russian disinformation and now slow-to-the-draw CBS has done the same:

“The laptop data we had analyzed showed no evidence it was faked or tampered with,” said Catherine Herridge.
So that’s a no on the Russian disinformation angle they’ve been working with for over two years?
Making this funnier, here’s CBS’s Lesley Stahl on 60 Minutes trying to convince Donald Trump that Hunter’s laptop was fake:

“I’m telling you, it can’t be verified,” said Stahl.
Then, miraculously, 25 months later, when it can’t hurt Biden’s presidential hopes, CBS finally verified the laptop.
Here’s the thing about this, CBS has finally admitted that Hunter’s laptop is real but they aren’t doing any stories about the contents. Where’s the CBS piece about Hunter taking naked pictures in bed with his underage niece? Where’s the expose on the insane corruption of Hunter and Joe Biden?
They won’t be doing any stories like that and the only reason why they finally came around to reality is because they don’t want anyone to be able to point at them and say “fake news.” Now that the Republicans have control of the House, they will be investigating Hunter and the laptop will feature prominently. CBS needs to be on the record agreeing that the laptop is legit.
