On Thursday, 18 RINO senators voted with the communists for a $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill which will send our national debt further into the stratosphere.
And will create numerous additional problems—and lawsuits—by way of the un-constitutionality contained therein.
This from westernjournal.com.
These GOP Senators betrayed America and sided with the communists to pass the bloated, dangerous, and un-American budget proposed by communist/globalist Majority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York and rino/globalist/China-compromised Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky.
Here are the full names and states of the Senators who betrayed their Conservative constituents with their vote of “yea”:
- Roy Blunt, Missouri
- John Boozman, Arkansas
- Shelley Moore Capito, West Virginia
- Susan Collins, Maine
- John Cornyn, Texas
- Tom Cotton, Arkansas
- Lindsey Graham, South Carolina
- Jim Inhofe, Oklahoma
- Mitch McConnell, Kentucky
- Jerry Moran, Kansas
- Lisa Murkowski, Alaska
- Rob Portman, Ohio
- Mitt Romney, Utah
- Mike Rounds, South Dakota
- Richard Shelby, Alabama
- John Thune, South Dakota
- Roger Wicker, Mississippi
- Todd Young, Indiana
The bill passed 68-29 on Thursday, despite a brief moment from the previous night where it seemed as though the monster bill might have been blocked because Utah Sen. Mike Lee added an amendment that would not allow Obiden to end a border security measure.
But, after claiming that she had “left” the democrat communist party, Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema came to the communists’ rescue and added an amendment of her own that changed Lee’s amendment just enough to get enough Republicans to cross the aisle and join the Democrats to pass the bill.
The Daily Signal noted:
Conservatives have called the lame-duck session’s passage of this budget a stunning act of betrayal.
Despite the democrat communist party having full control of the House the Senate and the White House, they still rammed this bill through at the last second just as their control was waning.
It all seems like a disaster for the country, as far as conservatives are concerned.
The Daily Signal added:
This bill is a breach of custom. Since 1994, the outgoing majority refrained from passing any omnibus spending bills during a lame-duck session because such a passage would not reflect the results of the election and the will of the American people.
Three other Republicans didn’t even bother to show up to vote, including John Barasso of Wyoming, Richard Burr of North Carolina, and Kevin Cramer of North Dakota.
Rep. Matt Gaetz blasted the the bill, while labeling Mitch McConnel a “McFailure” for letting it pass.
Senator Rick Scott of Florida blasted the bill that he did not support.
He described the spending as an “inflation bomb” and said:
“There’s no way anybody has read this bill we just voted on.”
I voted AGAINST the $1.7 TRILLION spending bill because I promised Florida families I'd fight every day to make Washington work for them.
This reckless inflation bomb is a disaster for our economy and a slap in the face to Floridians struggling to make ends meet. pic.twitter.com/Qnl0gJT2ke

Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas also called the bill:
[T[he height of recklessness for Senate Republican leadership for working hand in glove with the [
democratscommunists] to pass this thing.
Cruz said in a statement:
Due to the disastrous polices of Joe Biden and Congressional [
democratscommunists], inflation is out of control, the border is wide open, and crime is soaring. This $1.7 trillion spending boondoggle will drive inflation and prices even higher. For the sake of Texan and American families I voted no.
Kentucky’s Rand Paul was also incensed:

Enough of the platitudes of disgust.
Below is a list of the harm contained in this Omnibus bill.
NOTE: The bill is already more than half-finished, with $858 billion parceled out last week when Congress passed the 2023 National Defense Authorization Act.
That leaves about $772.5 billion for non-defense, so-called “discretionary” programs, including (but not all inclusive):
- $118.7 billion for the Veterans Administration.
- $44.9 billion in emergency assistance to Ukraine and NATO allies as Kyiv continues its defense against Russia’s 10-month-old invasion—including funding for Ukraine’s military, shoring up US weapon stocks and economic support to Ukraine’s government.
- $40.6 billion in disaster funding to help communities recovering from extreme weather events like hurricanes, wildfires and floods.
- $39 billion to the Justice Department, including $11.3 billion to the FBI and $2.6 billion to US Attorneys offices—an amount that includes “prosecutions related to the January 6 attack on the Capitol and domestic terrorism cases,” according to a fact sheet released by lawmakers.
- The bill also provides $735 million in funding to the US Capitol Police—an increase of about $132 million—to bring the total force to an estimated 2,126 officers and 567 civilians.
- $15.3 billion in so-called “community project funding,” which will go toward 7,200 public works nationwide—including $3 million to a proposed “universal hip-hop museum” in the Bronx and a $3.6 million hiking trail in Georgia named after former First Lady Michelle Obama.
- $12 billion on the Head Start program.
- $5 billion on the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program.
- $524.4 million for the National Institutes of Health to fund a subdivision focused on “minority health and health disparities research.”
- $410 to reimburse Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia, and Oman for tighter border security.
- $65 million “for necessary expenses associated with the restoration of Pacific salmon populations.”
- $1.56 billion to Customs and Border Protection for “border management requirements.”
- $339.6 million to Immigration and Customs Enforcement for “non-detention border management requirements,” funds that are prohibited from being used to “acquire, maintain, or extend border security technology and capabilities” unless they’re for improving processing.
- About $3 million goes toward the Pollinator-Friendly Practices on Roadsides and Highway Rights-of-Way Program, according to the bill. That program provides grants to state departments of transportation, Native American tribes and federal land management agencies for “activities to benefit pollinators on roadsides and highway rights-of-ways” like planting certain types of flora or implementing certain mowing strategies.
Gun Owners of America strongly objects to the Omnibus bill because it is infested with Second Amendment infringements, i.e., un-Constitutionalities:
- Massive 14.1% ATF Budget Increase to Facilitate Biden’s Pistol Ban.
- $14.4 Million for ATF’s NTC Budget to Maintain it’s Illegal Near-Billion Record Gun Registry.
- $700+ Million in Funding Available to Bribe States to Pass “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation Laws.
- Directing VA Medical Centers to Utilize Confiscation Orders on Vulnerable Veterans.
- Department of Education to Push “Safe Storage” of Parents’ Firearms.
- Funding for VA to Maintain “Gun Storage Maps” to Keep Tabs on Where Veterans Keep Guns.
- New Annual Compensation for Families of Deceased ATF Agents Could be an Indication of Upcoming Gun Confiscation.
- Gun Control Earmarks for “Orchid Healing Circles” and More!
- Dickey Violations Galore While CDC Suppresses Self-Defense Statistics.
- Programs Discouraging Women from Exercising their Second Amendment Rights.
- Anti-Gun “Community Violence Intervention” Initiatives.
- “Violent Anti-Government Ideology” and “Domestic Radicalization Research.”
