If the democrat/communist/globalist (DCG) crime party was looking for a 2024 convention site that perfectly symbolizes what the party stands for, they have succeeded: Chicago.

According to Politico:
On Tuesday, the [political party of the extreme Left] announced the Windy City as its choice, beating out Atlanta and New York City.
The point of the pick was to emphasize the importance DCGs are placing on the Midwest as they look to repeat their 2020 win steal at the presidential level.
In 2016, the road to success for President Trump included narrowly nabbing Wisconsin and Michigan from the DCGs for the first time since the 1980s.
However, during the pandemic in 2020, with the emphasis on mail-in ballots, democrats/communists/globalists were able to falsely run up the score in cities like Detroit and Milwaukee and restore their so-called “blue wall” that included Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
Ohio remained with Trump in 2020 after going for Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012.
The Republican Party announced last year that its 2024 convention will be in Milwaukee—about 90 miles north of Chicago—so the GOP clearly also sees the importance of winning in the Midwest.
What isn’t being reported, however, is that Chicago is the poster child (along with the state of California) of failed democrat/communist/globalist policies.
It was the murder capital of the U.S. in 2022 with 697 homicides, far exceeding the next highest of 516 in Philadelphia, WTVO-TV reported in February.
As another point of reference, Chicago’s population is approximately 2.7 million versus New York City’s 8.5 million, but the Big Apple had over 250 fewer murders (438 total).
The Illinois Policy Institute determined that crime spiked by 41 percent overall in Chicago last year, with theft being the biggest driver.
According to CNN Business:
Several major corporations have closed their headquarters in the city in recent years, including Tyson Foods, Caterpillar, and Boeing [due in large part to rampant crime].
Despite this—if election results are to be believed—a majority of Chicagoans voted last week for progressive Brandon Johnson for mayor over the more moderate democrat Paul Vallas.
Axios reported:
Johnson supports defunding the police and diverting more money to social programs to address the root causes of crime, Vallas, meanwhile, had pledged to fill more than 1,000 police vacancies in the city.
Brandon Johnson doesn’t want you to believe that we can quickly refill the ranks of our police department, even though there are several methods I know will make it happen. Why not? It’s simple — Brandon doesn’t want to hire more officers, he wants to defund the police. pic.twitter.com/4NWZmbp5Xa

And how will this agenda be funded? Johnson wants to raise taxes by $800 million.
The only question remaining, “How long before Chicago becomes a ghost town?”
Now for the “very bad news” as noted in the article’s headline:
The following from therightscoop.com.
Walmart has just announced it is abruptly closing four stores this month in the windy city because they are losing millions of dollars annually. They aren’t profitable and haven’t been since they opened 17 years ago.
And this comes after Walmart already closed three stores in the suburbs of Chicago this year.
Walmart didn’t come right out and say it but you can be sure that crime is one of the leading reasons [these particular stores] aren’t profitable.
Now, let’s get real here. This is Walmart—nearly everyone goes there unless they’re boycotting Walmart. How hard could it have been for them to make a profit in each of these stores?
The Daily Caller reported:
The neighborhoods in which Walmart announced the closures—Chatham, Kenwood, Lakeview, and Little Village—have long-struggled with crime and violence.
So, this makes seven stores in just a few months and this is where the DNC wants to highlight their wonderful policies. A perfect choice, yes?
Seriously, what does it say about the policies of a city when Walmart has to pack up and leave because city leaders can’t keep crime under control?
