Miller Lite Doesn’t Want Your Business Either

Bud Light made it very clear that they don’t want your business when the partnered with Dylan Mulvaney, a man who pretends to be a little girl. Miller Lite is doing the same thing, basically saying that their beer is not something men should consume.

If there is a beer that’s worse than Bud Light, it’s Miller Lite. The tastes awful, less filling brand put out an ad in March that nobody noticed until a couple fo days ago. Enjoy:

That is uggo, Ilana Glazer from Broad City claiming that women invented beer and shaming beer companies for using sexy women in bikinis to sell their brands. Then, the ad invites people to send in any sexy women-related beer memorabilia, saying Miller Lite will turn that stuff into “shit” that will be used by women to grow beer ingredients.

It’s an incredibly lame ad, trying so hard to be clever and edgy. It’s also got a message that Miller Lite doesn’t want people who like attractive women to drink their beer. Apparently they think there’s a vast untapped demographic of butch lesbians, who will send their sales through the roof.

In the case of the Bud Light/Dylan Mulvaney fiasco, there was a very woke woman marketing manger behind it. It’s the same story with Miller Lite, as the Daily Caller reports:

Sofia Colucci, the chief marketing officer of Molson Coors Beverage, which owns Miller Lite, has a past of supporting liberal causes such as gun control, protests for George Floyd, illegal immigration and the COVID-19 vaccine, social media posts reviewed by the Daily Caller found.

Colucci has deleted many of the posts, however, the Caller took screenshots of her posts before they were deleted. Colucci donated and shared a fundraiser on her Facebook page that goes to reuniting migrants with their immigrant families. She also shared another page regarding the Las Vegas Shooting, saying members of Congress who received donations from the NRA need to meet with the victims and implement stricter gun laws.

One post that also seems to no longer be active on Colucci’s Facebook page is one of former Republican Arizona Sen. John McCain’s concession speech to former President Barack Obama. Colucci wrote, “Wow. Amazing and a reminder of what a true leader does.”

After George Floyd was killed, Colucci posted a black square in support of Black Lives Matter and Floyd on Black Out Tuesday, to remember Floyd.

Colucci also shared a post from Obama and said, “If only we had his leadership right now. His suggestions on how to take action are helpful.”

The Daily Caller reached out to Colucci, but she didn’t respond. Chief Communications and Corporate Affairs Officer of Molson Coors, Adam Collins, however did release a statement regarding the man-hating ad:

“This video was about two things: worm poop and saying women shouldn’t be forced to mud wrestle in order to sell beer. Neither of these things should be remotely controversial and we hope beer drinkers can appreciate the humor (and ridiculousness) of this video from back in March,” read the statement.

Despite claiming this ad was in good humor and appreciated by beer drinkers, Molson Coors has scrubbed it from the Internet. Also, no women were ever forced to mud wrestle to sell beer, they were paid money to appear in beer ads under their own freewill.

It’s unclear why companies have such a hard time understanding that people don’t want a culture war erupting over every product. It’s beer, albeit shitty beer, not a social statement.

Because of this, I have updated the Def-Con News list of beers to avoid, by adding Miller Lite.
