Samuel L. Jackson Blames Republicans For Segregating The South When he Was Young

The history of racism in America is the history of the democratic party. They were the ones that owned slaves, went to war to keep slavery, segregated the South, formed the KKK to enforce segregation, and fought to block the Civil Rights Act. Actor Samuel L. Jackson is old enough to remember that but for some reason thinks it’s Republicans who tried to oppress black people.

Samuel L. Jackson was born in 1948 in Washington D.C. but grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He attended segregated schools in the 50s and 60s and eventually became a part of the Black Power movement. He once kidnapped the members of the Morehouse College board of trustees (including Martin Luther King Sr.) to demand social change. This is a guy who is well aware of the people behind the mistreatment of blacks in the South and yet, he had this to say in a recent interview:

“When I grew up in segregation, I knew which white people didn’t want to be bothered with me and I knew how they felt about me. I know how the Republicans feel about me now because of what my mindset is,” said Jackson.

Now wait for it…

“When I see Trump, I see the same rednecks I saw when I was growing up who called me ‘n—-r’ or n-word’ and tried to keep me in my place. That’s what the Republican Party is to me,” Jackson said.

It’s weird how that’s not what the democratic party is to him since they were the ones who actually called him the N-word and tried to keep him in his place.

Believe it or not, this interview was Jackson promoting his Disney+ series, Secret Invasion. I guess he figured some revisionist history was better than talking about his MCU character Nick Fury.

In this same interview, Jackson admitted that Donald Trump broke him mentally, saying he had a “hard time” after the 2016 election. This perhaps explains the poor memory of his upbringing. TDS devastated his ability to think rationally.

BTW, during Trump’s presidency, Jackson starred in 21 movies that grossed over $114 billion at the box office. Talk about being oppressed.

I think what’s really going on here is, Jackson is pretending like democrats were never the racist ones because he’s been able to make such a fortune off of the liberal Hollywood system. He can’t come out and speak the truth about slavery and segregation because then his liberal white masters will take everything away from him. Instead, he’s blaming Republicans as he has been instructed.
