Liberal cities have effectively decriminalized most petty crime like property theft and public defecation by refusing to prosecute or even investigate. Liberal-ass Austin, Texas has taken a giant leap forward in progressive policing by telling its citizens to stop calling 911 when they get robbed. Defunding the police actually funds the criminals.
The racial justice movement since the Summer of Floyd riots saw liberals across the country demanding, not only the defunding of police departments but the halting of arresting black people for crimes they have committed. That, combined with a complete lack of enforcement on vagrancy and public drug use have turned democrat-run cities into shit-covered hellscapes.
The irony is, the same liberals who demanded this literal shit and voted for the democrats who made it happen, are now crying that their cities are scary and unliveable. Rather than vote for a different party that will clean things up, these asshole lefties flee to clean and safe red areas, where they try to recreate the hell they made and abandoned.
Austin is like if Portland and Seattle had sex and then dumped their late-term abortion in Texas. The city is every bit as awful as San Francisco and Minneapolis combined. As evidence of this, check out this tweet from the Austin PD:

For those of you who don’t know, 311 is the non-emergency number, so in Austin, someone shoving a gun in your face or beating you senseless is no longer considered a law enforcement priority.
This is extra-dumb because it’s also telling the criminals to rob people at ATMs because the police will not respond. Once again, liberal policy is on the side of the scumbags.
Austin may suck, but it is in Texas, so some better advice would be to call 1911, as in carry a .45 and defend yourself and your property. Then again, maybe Austin has some local anti-gun ordinances that prevent people from exercising their Constitutional rights.
I guess the best advice for Austin residents would be to GTFO, but only for the normal people who didn’t vote that shithole into existence.

This is so f*cking insane I find it hard to believe that even liberal idiots would put up with it. Actually, I don’t. If they can live with human shit and dirty needles all over their children’s playgrounds, they can accept that armed robbery is a small price to pay for living in a woke progressive utopia.
