Billionaire Move Rocks Blue City to its Core—A Mega-Win for One Red State

Not long ago, billionaire businessman Elon Musk left California, bringing his companies to conservative Texas.

He is not alone. Now, another billionaire is leaving his California home of 29 years. And he is transplanting his massive company with him.

This from thepatriotjournal.com.

From Daily Wire:

Amazon is looking for office space in Miami as company founder Jeff Bezos plans to move to Florida after spending 29 years in Seattle.

The tech giant’s search for 50,000 square feet of office space in Miami…

An Amazon spokesperson told Axios that the company is seeking office space in Florida due to its growth in the Miami area over the past few years.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is moving from Seattle, where he’s lived for nearly 3 decades, to a town outside Miami, FL. On top of that, the mega-retailor is also looking to buy a 50,000-square-foot office, to increase the number of employees they have in the state.

Currently, over 400 Amazon employees work in locations across Miami. But the company wants to expand that number, bringing many of its workers under one roof.

This is a huge victory for the red state of Florida, which is often ridiculed and mischaracterized by Democrats. California Gov. Gavin Newsom has long insulted Florida and its leaders, claiming its residents have “no freedom.”

Despite this, many Americans have left California and other West Coast states to relocate to the Sunshine State. It is no secret that blue states have allowed crime, drug addiction, and homelessness to abound. On top of that, sky-high taxes have hurt both workers and business owners.

Many stores in blue city downtown areas have closed for good, because of endless shoplifting and expanding homeless encampments.

It should come as no surprise that Bezos would leave Seattle, one of the most’woke’ cities on the West Coast, for a deeply conservative state like Florida. Moving parts of his company there is also a no-brainer, given the state’s business-friendly agenda.

Final thoughts: Two questions come to mind.

One: Will the Left finally wake up and smell the coffee? That is, will they forego wokeism, communism, and globalism and reverse policies that are driving companies and people away?

Two: Will Bezos and the people he transplants to Florida leave behind their broken politics and perform a fresh start?
