In a deeply disturbing incident that has sent shockwaves through the Stamford Hill area in north London, a 20-year-old Jewish woman was brutally assaulted in what is being reported as another antisemitic attack.
This from rairfoundation.com.
Shomrim, a Jewish security group, released CCTV footage showing the horrifying moment when the woman was attacked by two black female assailants on a dark street in this predominantly Jewish neighborhood.
The violent attack, which took place at around 4:30 pm on Thursday, 7 December, was captured in harrowing detail on CCTV.
The footage shows the young Jewish woman being stalked and then struck on the back of her head by the attackers.
The violence escalated as she was beaten and kicked, eventually falling unconscious to the ground. Shockingly, witnesses reported that the attackers continued to kick the unconscious victim in the head, laughing over her body and declaring joyfully that she was “dead.”

In a disturbing display of indifference, numerous pedestrians were seen passing by without intervening as the assailants mercilessly attacked the young woman.
It was only after the vicious assault had ceased that some passersby finally approached to check on the victim, who lay motionless and unresponsive in a puddle. Volunteers from Shomrim spent the entire night collecting CCTV footage, searching for witnesses, and providing support to both the victim and her family.

The Metropolitan Police, treating the incident as a robbery, stated that the woman’s bag was stolen during the attack. Despite sustaining bruising, she did not require hospital treatment.
Detective Inspector Mike Herrick, leading the investigation, emphasized the severity of the attack and the psychological impact on the victim, assuring that the police were offering her every support while they worked to identify the suspects.
Concerns about the motivation behind the attack have been heightened due to its location and the identity of the victim. The Combat Antisemitism Movement has identified the attack as an instance of Jew hatred, underlining the need for decisive action against such expressions of antisemitism.
The police have acknowledged these concerns, stating that they are keeping an open mind about the motive and working closely with the local community.
Shomrim’s proactive response, including the dissemination of footage and photos of the attackers, has been instrumental in highlighting the severity of the incident. The group’s efforts have been critical in mobilizing community and police responses to the attack.
The Metropolitan Police are trying to locate two female suspects and have appealed to the public for any witnesses to come forward. The footage shows at least one of the attackers wearing what appears to be a school uniform. This attack, characterized by its brutality and potentially anti-Jewish motives, has raised significant alarm in Stamford Hill and beyond.
Final thoughts: First they came for the…and I did not speak out because I was not one of them… Then they came for the Jews and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew… Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me.
Paraphrase from First They Came by Martin Niemueller
Those who observed this happening and did nothing to stop it are bastards of the worst kind.
The Metropolitan Police’s finest are dullards if they cannot identify the culprits from the excellent photos.
