Since Israel went to war to root out Hamas, tensions have exploded in the Middle East.
The Regime has increased U.S. military presence in the region despite—as has been reported—the urging of Israel’s leadership.
This from thepatriotjournal.com.
Israel’s retaliatory actions have provoked conflict from groups backed by the rogue nation Iran. These groups have since fired numerous missiles at American bases and ships.
And the situation is worsening. Recently, Iran-backed Houthis from Yemen launched a surprise attack.
From The Daily Wire:
U.S. forces shot down nearly two dozen drones and missiles that were launched as part of a ‘complex attack’ on international shipping lanes in the Red Sea this week.
U.S. Central Command said in a statement that the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists launched the attack at approximately 9:15 p.m. local time on Tuesday, which included anti-ship cruise missiles, and an anti-ship ballistic missile from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen into the Southern Red Sea.
CENTCOM stated that the missiles were aimed where “dozens of merchant vessels were transiting.” This suggests that terror groups are expanding their activities beyond U.S. forces, to civilian ships.
Fears have risen over a larger conflict since The Regime reacted to the Israeli war.
The Pentagon put troops in the area on notice, as more U.S. warships and other vehicles have moved into the region. Terrorists have fired many rockets at American bases, injuring soldiers. They have also targeted civilian ships, including taking on captives.
The Regime has faced backlash for being “all talk” and little action. The Regime has warned Iran and other groups. But words have produced zero results—little has been done, despite American servicemembers and ships being in harm’s way.
Some have worried that The Regime’s lack of leadership over this issue could result in more casualties and conflict. Afterall, failures in Ukraine and Afghanistan have left many worried.
The U.S. military shooting down Houthi drones is a start in the right direction. Whether the U.S.—despite its timidity and the queer moslem in the basement—can bring the Houthi attacks to a stop remains to be seen.
UPDATE:
The U.N. Security Council demanded an immediate halt to attacks by Yemen’s Houthi rebels on ships in the Red Sea in a resolution adopted Wednesday, January 10, 2024, that implicitly condemned their main weapons supplier—Iran.
The resolution, sponsored by the United States and Japan, was approved by a vote of 11-0 with four abstentions—Russia, China, Algeria and Mozambique.
