Hey Troops, I know many of you have been wondering where the hell I’ve been lately, because I haven’t been as active in posting my insane rants. The answers is quite simple: I’m being crushed under Bidenomics, which the fake news industry insists is a great economy, but in actuality sucks monkey balls.
Def Con News is my passion, but it unfortunately doesn’t pay the bills. In order to afford luxury items like food and running water, I’ve had to take on several other writing gigs. Basically, I’m writing from the time I get up, around 6am, until midnight, trying hit all of these deadlines. I try to to squeeze some DCN stuff in when I can, but most days I’m slammed. Any free time I get is dedicated to my amazing dog, because she doesn’t care about deadlines and needs to run free and crazy.
I’m trying really hard to get my schedule under control so I can put more work in on this site. I’d really love to get The Week in WTF?, Friday Quiz, and Sunday Crossword Puzzle going again, but those things eat up a lot of time in creating. I also want to get at least one “F*ck Joe Biden” article per day going, and hopefully that will happen soon.
Most of my side-hustle writing is pretty mundane and even soul-crushing, but there are a couple of sites I’ve been working for that are fun and in my wheelhouse. The first is an automotive site called TopSpeed, which is awesome because I loves me some classic American muscle cars, and I frequently get to write about them. Here’s a little sample of what I do:

The second site is entertainment-related, called CBR, which stands for Comic Book resource. I don’t write anything about comics, but I do create some cool movies lists like the Goriest Horror Movies and Top 10 Sci-Fi Bombs That Don’t Suck. This is a recent one from there:

With a lot of this stuff, I get bonuses based on the number of hits, so if you click through on either of these links, I might be able to afford eggs.
The only downside to writing for these places is I can’t interject any politics nor I am allowed to hate on anything. Sometimes an asshole needs to know he’s an asshole and other times an insufferable c*nt needs to be put in her place. Also, I can’t cuss, and that is so mother*cking hard for me.
