The Regime has been given a proverbial slap to the face from communists/globalists in Congress.

Throughout the eight years of Obama and the three-plus years of Biden/Obama, The Regime enjoyed unquestioning support from communists/globalists (democrats) in Congress. Whatever one branch of government wanted to pass the other has supported and vice versa.
But not this time. In this instance The Regime was slammed with the reality that some Leftists in Congress appear to have deep inside them a desire to do what is right for the American people when it comes to the border crisis—if not ulterior motives of which We the People are not yet aware.

The House passed a resolution condemning [The Regime’s] border policies on Tuesday, rebuking Biden for “refusing” to use executive authority to stop the illegal flow of immigrants crossing the southern border.
House Republicans overwhelmingly voted in favor of the resolution, passing it 226 to 193. Fourteen House communists/globalists voted in support of the resolution, which is the latest step taken by GOP lawmakers to blast Biden for his perceived lack of accountability when it comes to border security.
The measure was championed by Rep. Monica De La Cruz (R-TX) whose district is 90% Hispanic. She accused Biden and [The Regime] of limiting expedited removal. Republicans believe this policy “only incentivizes illegal immigration and worsens the border crisis.”
De La Cruz stated on Tuesday:
The current state of our nation’s border security is unsustainable. The policies put forth by [The Regime] have resulted in the worst border security crisis in our nation’s history, endangering our communities and straining our resources.
The GOP-led resolution was backed by Representatives Yadira Caraveo (C/G-CO), Angie Craig (C/G-MN), Henry Cuellar (C/G-TX), Sharice Davids (C/G-KS), Don Davis (C/G-NC), Jared Golden (C/G-ME), Steven Horsford (C/G-NV), Greg Landsman (C/G-OH), Susie Lee (C/G-NV), Jared Moskowitz (C/G-FL), Frank Mrvan (C/G-IN), Mary Peltola (C/G-AK), Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (C/G-WA), and Eric Sorensen (C/G-IL).
De La Cruz went on to say:
[The Regime] needs to take decisive action to solve the crisis along the U.S. border. [She wants The Regime] to immediately regain control of the border and protect the interests of the American people.
Biden faced increased scrutiny over the border crisis prior to his State of the Union vitriol attack before Congress last week. His angry tirade was muffled under the shadow of the brutal murder of Laken Riley, a nursing student killed by a Venezuelan illegal alien.
Just hours before the State of Disunion tirade, the House passed the Laken Riley Act, which will force immigration officials to detain immigrants charged with crimes such as burglary or theft. GOP lawmakers are also fighting efforts by communists/globalists to pass expensive legislation providing more funding for Ukraine without shoring up funds for U.S. border protection.
House Speaker Mike Johnson does not appear interested in bringing to a floor vote a borderless Ukraine bill passed in the Senate. GOP leadership has called the bill “dead on arrival.”
