A Top Louisiana State Leftist Defied His Cabal in Surprise Move—He Condemned Woke Agenda with Two Words

If we know one thing about the Left, we know they stick together like flies on sh**.

Even when one of them is caught in a scandal or indictment, the crime cabal rarely abandons them.

This from thepatriotjournal.com.

That plus an absence of election integrity are a large part of the rationale why they are elected and reelected—they refuse to turn on their own.

And this is unlike Republicans who frequently turn on their own party for their own advancement.

But in this one case, a state communist/globalist openly defied one of his party’s biggest golden calves. During a vote that would give families a major boost, he supported the move. And he shut down cabal’s precious plans with two words.

From Daily Wire:

A speech from a [Leftist] representative in favor of a school choice bill went viral as the Louisiana House voted overwhelmingly on Monday to pass the measure, which now goes on to the state Senate…

The bill passed the House 72-32 with 65 Republicans and seven [Leftists] backing the bill.

Hughes said in his speech, which was viewed over half a million times on X:

As I watch children in poverty, trapped in failing schools, who can hardly read, I’d be damned if I will continue to defend the status quo.

Too many of our children are dropping out, and then we wonder why we have to have a crime session.

Rep. Jason Hughes, a state representative from New Orleans, gave a passionate speech in support of a school choice bill.

School choice is a wildly popular measure among parents and families that provide education dollars directly to students.

The Left has strongly opposed school choice, siding with corrupt teachers’ unions—who stand to lose funding over the policy.

But Hughes blasted the status quo in Louisiana. He shut down the Left’s much-beloved public school system calling them “failing schools.” He said that children in his district are trapped in these crumbling institutions and can “hardly read.”

Many Americans have criticized public schools, which take tax dollars but continue to fall behind other countries in educational standards.

School choice has provided families with the chance to pick the best schools, including private or charter.

The bill passed with large support from the state House and moved to the state Senate.
