May Georgia Conservatives Stop the GOP from Supporting Compromised Kemp for U.S. Senate—A Two-Term Limit as Gov, a Cash-Full War Chest Suggest Aspirations

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R-GA) began his second term in January 2023 with more political clout than ever, setting himself up for a possible 2026 Senate run or a future White House bid.

This from washingtonexaminer.com.

After defeating Trump’s handpicked primary foe—former U.S. Sen. David Perdue—in the Republican primary and then communist/globalist Stacey Abrams in the general election, Kemp had many in the GOP orbit saying the Georgia governor had earned a spot in the 2024 conversation.

Yes, Kemp survived a coordinated campaign led by Trump to primary him—some believe—as payback for refusing to address the 2020 Georgia presidential election fraud.

Kemp was able to turn Trump’s taunts into his favor, managing to win credibility with centrists and independent voters. Kemp also beat Leftist problem child Stacey Abrams in a marquee general election matchup by 8 percentage points.

During the high-stakes Senate runoff race between GOP nominee Herschel Walker and Sen. Raphael Warnock (C/G-GA), Kemp made a series of power moves that catapulted him on the radar of powerful politicos such as Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).

When Kemp was called upon to help Walker’s fledgling campaign, he provided Walker’s team with voter data that he had gathered so they could use it to reach more Republican voters. But Kemp, ever the politician, also managed to keep his distance from Walker, who was plagued by multiple controversies tied to his personal life and embellished professional achievements.

Steven Law, who led the political action committee aligned with McConnell, told the Associated Press:

Kemp did a remarkable job helping his party in a time of need while also protecting his brand.

So, what is next for Brian Kemp? The U.S. Senate in 2026? The White House in 2028?

Harrison Floyd, who led the organization Black Voices for Trump in 2020, argued during a hearing Tuesday that he should not have been charged in the racketeering case because his concerns about voter fraud and questions about the election results were legitimate.

The results of the Georgia vote counting had Biden by more than 12,000 votes over Trump, however, Floyd’s attorneys are pushing to access more than 500,000 ballots from Fulton County, claiming:

[T]hey intend to produce evidence that thousands of votes were improperly excluded from the final vote tally.

Judge McAfee asked Floyd’s attorneys on Tuesday to file additional information to the court in the coming weeks, including the scope of the expert review of the 2020 votes they are seeking. McAfee also said he plans to have another hearing within the next two months to discuss the next steps in Floyd’s attempt to access the ballots.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, who many believe is a compromised anti-Trumper, has stated he found no evidence of fraud in the 2020 election:

[A]fter overseeing three separate counts of the ballots, conducting many other reviews of the process, and investigating more than 250 claims of voter fraud.

Floyd is one of 15 remaining defendants, including Trump, facing charges related to efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in Georgia.

A Maryland resident, Floyd has been charged with three counts in Georgia, including racketeering, conspiracy to commit solicitation of false statements and writings, and influencing witnesses.

Chad Alexis, senior assistant attorney for Fulton County, pushed back on 2020 voter-fraud arguments from Floyd’s attorneys. Alexis said:

[T]he process of producing the ballots would take thousands of hours and that this is a busy presidential election year during which the county needs all hands-on deck.

Kemp’s anticipated next political challenge will be against Sen. Jon Ossoff beginning the 2026 campaign season.

NOTE: The Big Rub—i.e., the quiet part stated out loud—President Trump and the MAGA Party will be a driving force propelling America to recovery in every avenue from The Regime malaise by 2026. The 2020 stolen election will by then be a forgone conclusion—the only remaining doubters will be the people who will have spent at least four years surviving under rocks.

Georgia will have confirmed their 2020 election was fraudulent and that Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger certified a fraudulent election.

By the campaign season of 2026, Military Tribunals will have been rolling at a record pace for well over a year. All or most of those who colluded in the failed coup d’etat will have been indicted. Governor Brian Kemp may not have been charged as a co-conspirator but his reputation will be terribly sullied by his alleged fraudulent election involvement, nonetheless.

Now, let us return to the discussion of Brian Kemp’s political aspirations and his growing war chest of campaign funds. Upon Trump’s return to the White House, he will be rightfully revengeful, and Kemp will still be one of many who grievously wronged him. So, what must Kemp begin to do immediately?

He must quell, however possible, the ongoing machinations of 2020 election voter fraud that are tearing the country apart, particularly the beautiful state of Georgia. And what strings will Kemp pull to quell MAGA contempt for 2020 election fraud?

This, I submit, is the number one question now being discussed in small groups of Georgia conservatives. Additionally, ‘What should concerned Conservatives expect from Kemp?’ And, ‘How to prevent him from positioning himself for advancement in the GOP Party?’

The campaign season of 2026 may seem to be a long way off, Georgia Conservatives, but you can be certain compromised Kemp has his eye on a prize and he is keeping busy.

God speed to Georgia Conservatives, to President Trump, and to the Take Back of our Constitutional Republic.
