Daring Israeli Operation Rescues Four Hostages from Hamas in Central Gaza and Tal Heinrich to Newsmax: ‘This War Will Not End with Hamas in Power’

The Israel Defense Forces carried out a daring operation Saturday morning that successfully rescued alive four hostages who had been held by Hamas for the last eight months.

This from townhall.com.

A joint statement released by the IDF, Shin Bet, and Israeli police said a “complex operation” liberated Noa Argamani (25), Almog Meir (21), Andrei Kozlov (27), and Shlomi Ziv (40)—all four of which were kidnapped by Hamas from the Nova Music Festival during the Iran-backed terrorists’ October 7 massacre.

Officials said the four hostages were rescued from two separate locations in Nuseirat in central Gaza. The now-freed hostages are in “stable” condition and have been transferred to Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer outside of Tel Aviv.

Israeli officials also reiterated their commitment to “make every effort to bring the hostages home.”

According to The Jerusalem Post:

Argamani was rescued from one of the two locations and Meir, Kozlov, and Ziv were rescued from the other.

The announcement of the successful Israeli rescue came after the IDF said it was launching strikes on “terror infrastructure” in Nuseirat, which was later realized to be part of the operation to liberate hostages and bring them home to Israel.

According to IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari:

[H]undreds of soldiers participated in the rescue that included Israeli strikes from the land, air, and sea.

Further:

It was a complex and difficult operation, under constant gunfire—but it was successful.

Notably, Saturday’s operation demonstrated the importance of Israel’s continued military campaign in Gaza not just to eliminate the military threat posed by Hamas but to rescue its hostages—and showed a ceasefire is not necessary to bring the hostages home.

It’s also a clear repudiation of [The Obiden Regime’s] repeated demand that Israel stand down. If the White House had gotten its way, these four Israelis would still be hostages of Hamas today. Instead, they’re free and reunited with their loved ones.

The much-needed good news, a reason for hope that more hostages will be rescued in the days ahead, was celebrated across Israel on Saturday.

Speaking after the news that four hostages were rescued, Tal Heinrich, a spokesperson for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, vowed Saturday that:

[Israel’s] war will not end with Hamas in power.

However, she said on Newsmax’s America Right Now that the news is “bittersweet” because of the death of one of the special forces officers who was part of the rescue operation.

Heinrich said:

It’s a blessed Shabbat. It’s a good day in Israel, and we didn’t have many moments in which we could rejoice as a nation since Oct. 7. I can tell you everyone in my country is so filled with emotion.

Further:

Israel is committed to the return of all hostages as we are a nation that’s committed to the principle of leaving nobody behind.

And:

Hamas, meanwhile, tries to shield its fighters in bustling civilian neighborhoods and hides its hostages there as well.

They want to maximize civilian suffering and civilian casualties in Gaza.

They hide hostages in civilian structures and in civilian areas. And … these are the areas from which they operate because they hope that the international community will put pressure on Israel for their bloodthirsty, vile actions against our people.

She added that Israel’s war objective has not changed:

We will destroy Hamas and bring the hostages home and will make sure that Gaza will never pose a terror threat to us again.

We said from the very beginning that we’re not in this to degrade Hamas or deter Hamas or contain Hamas.

We want to make sure that by the end of this war, they will not have the military capabilities, the desire, or the ability to hurt us ever again … We don’t want to see one more missile, one more attack, one more infiltration attempt through the border. That’s over.

God speed to the IDF.
