The words being reported to describe the debate: “Trump lied and Biden appeared weak, but he has had a cold and has been sick for a week,” do not do the first—and likely only Trump/Biden debate of 2024—sufficient justice.
I may not be the first to do this. Others had all night to come to this conclusion, however, I am raising the semi-official Def-Con News Bullshit flag.
The Biden people are not shocked. They are grateful, and in the weeks, months, and years to come they will look back upon this debate with gratitude, some even seeing it as a plan having come together. This is the point at which a decision was made for them:
Biden is not the horse upon which
the Left can continue riding.
Biden’s supporters may have hoped against hope that Slow Joe would have found a miracle. They likely had performed voodoo on a Trump doll right before the start of the debate and may even have burned some incense and recited some seemingly nonsensical incantations or whatever it is devil worshipers do, but the reported ‘shock’ does not accurately describe the Biden supporters.
Feigned worries that the 81-year-old was too old to serve another term have been replaced by a definite mental search—individually and collectively—by the Biden people. And the number one question being asked: WTF do we do now?
They can claim Trump lied, but this Presidential Debate has given the communist/globalist crime syndicate the impetus to switch gears and move full steam toward replacing Slow Joe.
CNN analyst John King said minutes after the debate ended:
This was a game-changing debate in the sense that right now, as we speak, there is a deep, a wide, and a very aggressive panic in the Democratic Party.
It started minutes into the debate and it continues right now. …
They’re having conversations about the president’s performance, which they think was dismal … and they’re having conversations about what they should do about it.
Further:
Some of those conversations include, ‘should we go to the White House and ask the president to step aside?’ Other conversations are, ‘should prominent Democrats go public with that call,’ because they feel this debate was so terrible.
Words of such were echoed even more progressively at MSNBC.
Nicole Wallace said:
There is a conversation happening inside Biden’s circle … and inside the Democratic coalition. I think there will be stories of a lot of concern about the performance tonight.
Further:
Conversations range from whether he should be in this race tomorrow morning to, ‘What was wrong with him?’
MSNBC’s Joy Reid added this:
Democrats are always panicking; they’re always scared. Joe Biden’s job was to reassure them tonight. His job was to calm his party. … He did not do that. He did the opposite of that.
About halfway through the debate, a Democratic strategist who worked on Biden’s 2020 campaign called it a “disaster.”
Trump unleashed a barrage of criticisms like migrants carrying out a crime wave and Democrats’ support for infanticide.
Early in the debate, Biden paused as he was making a point about Medicare and tax reform and seemed to lose his train of thought.
Biden said, pausing:
[Tax reform would create money to help] strengthen our healthcare system, making sure that we’re able to make every single solitary person eligible for what I was able to do with the, with the COVID, excuse me, with dealing with everything we had to do with. We finally beat Medicare.
Trump jabbed Biden for being incoherent, saying at one point:
I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence. I don’t think he knows what he said.
Ray La Raja, a political science professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, said
Biden’s not talking in a measured way, and looks like he’s searching for words.
Ahead of the debate, Biden confined himself to nearly a week of “debate camp” with top advisers at the Camp David presidential retreat in the mountains of western Maryland, an indication of how important his campaign considered Thursday night. However…
Biden’s homework prep did not reflect on his performance.
Joe Walsh, a former 2020 Republican presidential candidate who has been critical of Trump, said on X:
Trump is Trump, every word out of his mouth is bull—-. But Biden sounds old. And lost. And that’s going to matter more than anything. So far, this is an absolute nightmare for Biden.
Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, reiterated a prediction he made months ago. He said in a post to X:
Dems are going to dump Biden.
Get ready for Michelle Obama as their nominee.
Republican Justin Amash said:
It would be unprecedented political malpractice for Democrats to nominate Joe Biden.
Final thoughts: The June 27, 2024, Presidential Debate produced two winners.
President Trump won bragging rights. And the communist/globalist crime syndicate won candidate replacement rights.
