Unpacking the ‘Childless Cat Lady’ Paradigm

U.S. Senator and GOP nominee for Vice President, J.D. Vance once seemingly called out single women, and it has caused a firestorm among female voters.

In truth, however, this is another example of leftists taking things out of context—their favorite thing to do when it is to their advantage.

This from patriotpost.us.

Here is the comment the Left dug up from 2021 that has been taken out of proportion:

We’re effectively run in this country, via the Democrats, via our corporate oligarchs, by a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made, and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable too.

It’s just a basic fact. You look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC. The entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children. And how does that make any sense, when we’ve turned our country over to people who don’t really have a direct stake in it?

If you are not someone who follows politics keenly and only hear the “childless cat ladies” part, you might be tempted to think this was not very fair to those who are struggling with infertility. However, if you actually listen to what follows, Vance makes clear that he is not at all talking about people who haven’t met the right person, nor is he talking about couples who for medical reasons cannot have children.

That stipulation alone should have put this non-controversy to bed. But the Left just has to hammer J.D. Vance—a well-spoken, relatable husband and father—to make him look repulsive to women voters.

Politically, this may prove to be an effective attack against voters who do not have the opportunity to learn the full story, especially since the constituency President Trump needs the most are women.

The gender gap has been exponentially growing, and women, particularly single women, are much more likely to vote for a leftist candidate.

By leaning into the issue of abortion—or, as leftists like to put it, “reproductive rights”—currently likely communist/globalist presidential nominee Dear Kamala is appealing to women. After all, the only policy on which she gets a higher ranking than Trump is abortion.

However, being pro-killing babies isn’t exactly a refute of the paradigm to which Vance was referring.

The childless cat lady represents the anti-human, anti-children sentiment of the progressive Left.

And the Left are not proposing an alternative; they do not have any ideas that show they have a stake in the future or that they even like children.

In fact, Harris recently encouraged people not to have children as a result of climate change fearmongering. She also supports the transgender movement that encourages children to sterilize themselves with cross-sex hormones, puberty blockers, and cutting off perfectly healthy genitalia.

Which brings us to the next weird happening. Apparently, there was a Zoom call over the weekend in which “Karens for Kamala”—i.e., white women—gathered to discuss what they need to do to get out the vote. Aside from it being super cringy, calling it “Karens for Kamala” displays what a struggle session this was. Karen is a racist knock against white women.

Young people are very averse to cringe, so there is an opportunity for Republicans to make some inroads. How, then, should the conservative movement go about wooing the childless single women and the suburban moms who would prefer a more genteel candidate?

Refrain from attacking Kamala on a personal level. Keep the attack on Harris’s very real problem—her policies and radicalism that leave her with no leg to stand on.

J.D. Vance provides an inspiring listen concerning the importance of Conservatism in the face of increasing progressive condemnation, the Culture War which is raging in America, the childless Left (starting at 16:20) with no physical commitment to the future of our country, and the crisis of our nation’s diminished birth rate.
