Commentary for a Sunday: President Trump Agrees to Debate Dear Kamala on Fox News “With a Full Arena Audience”

President Trump has confirmed he will participate in a highly anticipated debate against Dear Kamala, scheduled for Wednesday, September 4th.

The debate will be aired live on Fox News.

This from thegatewaypundit.com.

Dear Kamala and The Regime attempted to use a perceived delay in agreeing to the debate location and format to suggest President Trump did not want to debate, but the Trump campaign officials and Trump both said the debate will take place but on new terms.

The debate to which Trump had agreed was structured and scheduled based on his facing Dementia Joe, who dropped out of the race on July 21 after pressure from Obama et al. Dementia Joe has since backed Dear Kamala as the nominee.

The delegates are voting this weekend. Voting ends Monday, but Dear Kamala has secured (Read: stolen) enough votes for the nomination.

Dear Kamala campaign communications director Michael Tyler released a statement that was not even logical enough to qualify as cowardly saber rattling:

Donald Trump is running scared and trying to back out of the debate he already agreed to and running straight to Fox News to bail him out.

He needs to stop playing games and show up to the debate he already committed to on Sept 10.

Trump had previously stated the ABC News debate was agreed to with Biden as the presumptive nominee.

He explained:

[T]he delay was related to rejection of ABC News as the debate host due to a ‘conflict of interest’ amid the pending lawsuit against host George Stephanopoulos.

A onetime Clinton White House adviser, Stephanopoulos is too liberally bias to be considered an appropriate debate host or even a third-rate news prognosticator.

Trump’s Truth Social post explained:

The Debate was previously scheduled against Sleepy Joe Biden on ABC, but has been terminated in that Biden will no longer be a participant, and I am in litigation against ABC Network and George Slopadopoulos, thereby creating a conflict of interest.

Trump had recently selected Ohio Senator J.D. Vance as his running mate, prompting the Dementia Joe campaign to respond in predictable disgusting fashion.

Dear Kamala who insulted Vance, agreed to three possible dates for a VP debate. A Dementia Joe campaign official released the following statement:

On May 16, Vice President Harris accepted the very first invitation we received from a television network to host a Vice Presidential Debate. She agreed at that time to participate in a CBS-hosted debate on either Tuesday, July 23 or Tuesday, August 13.

Since then, CBS has offered—and the VP has accepted—another potential date for this debate: Monday, August 12.

On July 17, when asked about a potential debate with Harris, senior Trump campaign advisor Brian Hughes, aware of the possibility that Dementia Joe may drop out, responded:

We don’t know who the Democrat nominee for Vice President is going to be, so we can’t lock in a date before their convention.

To do so would be unfair to Gavin Newsom, JB Pritzker, Gretchen Whitmer, or whoever Kamala Harris picks as her running mate.

And Trump’s campaign was right. On July 21, Dementia Joe dropped out of the presidential race. Soon after, he endorsed Dear Kamala.

Biden’s statement on X:

My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term. My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made.

Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrat— it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this.

According to the Hill:

President Trump in a new interview questioned why he should debate Vice President Harris amid pressure from her campaign to do so.

The news outlet added:

He first told reporters last week he would absolutely debate‘ the vice president, followed by his campaign declining to commit to a debate until she is the official nominee. Trump then told Fox News he’d probably debate her but could make the case not to.

This sharp retort was quickly seized upon by the mass propaganda media, with many outlets suggesting that Trump was trying to dodge a debate with Dear Kamala.

According to the DNC Chair Jaime Harrison:

On Friday, [Dear Kamala] ha[d] won enough delegates to secure the nomination.

The results will be finalized on Monday.

NOTE: Dear Kamala stole all of Biden’s delegates. She has never won a primary but she is now the Left’s nominee after a group of elitists ushered her in to the top of the ticket.

Late Friday evening, Trump took to social media once again to clarify his position and announce the upcoming debate. He wrote:

I have agreed with FoxNews to debate Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 4th. The Debate was previously scheduled against Sleepy Joe Biden on ABC but has been terminated in that Biden will no longer be a participant, and I am in litigation against ABC Network and George Slopadopoulos, thereby creating a conflict of interest.

The FoxNews Debate will be held in the Great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, at a site in an area to be determined. The Moderators of the Debate will be Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, and the Rules will be similar to the Rules of my Debate with Sleepy Joe, who has been treated horribly by his Party—BUT WITH A FULL ARENA AUDIENCE!
