MAGA Hat-Wearing Woman Banned from Baseball Game, The Team Has Since Apologized for Their Bias

Conservatives and Trump supporters often find themselves on the receiving end of oppressive tactics designed to silence their voices.

This from thepatriotjournal.com.

That is especially true for conservatives living in blue states. Whether it is through outright discrimination in the workplace or in public spaces, the message is clear. Dissent from the progressive agenda is not welcome.

These states, which pride themselves on being tolerant and inclusive, frequently display a shocking level of intolerance toward anyone who dares to challenge their political ways.

This oppressive environment extends beyond just social exclusion.

Many conservatives in these areas face bureaucratic hurdles and targeted harassment simply for holding and expressing their beliefs.

NOTE: A group of Republicans wanted to simply attend a baseball game when the woke mafia reared its ugly head.

From The Blaze:

A New York Republican said she was denied entry to Citi Field while wearing a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat and was told she couldn’t have it on her person, either…

The Mets organization has since said that the employee had misinterpreted the venue’s policy on attire.

The team said in a statement to the Post:

A Mets employee was mistaken about our attire policy. We are reaching out to Aura Moody to apologize and invite her back to the ballpark.

Aura Moody, a proud New York Republican, learned the hard way that when she decided to show a little love for her favorite team: Team Trump, her sentiments were not welcome.

In the land of the free, where you’re supposed to be able to cheer for any team—or president—you choose, it seems some folks missed the memo.

Unfortunately, her choice of headwear, a “Make America Great Again” hat, turned out to be a fashion faux pas that Citi Field just couldn’t handle.

Moody, along with her friend Taisha, strolled into Citi Field, home of the New York Mets, ready to enjoy a game. Little did they know, they were about to become the latest victims of the blue-state anti-Trump brigade.

After breezing through a security checkpoint, the pair were stopped in their tracks by a staff member who told them that their MAGA hats were simply too much for the stadium to bear.

And here’s the kicker: it wasn’t just that they couldn’t wear them—they couldn’t even keep them on their person.

Yes, apparently, the mere presence of a Trump hat is a threat to public safety.

Moody, 64, had to make a quick decision. Rather than risk being denied entry entirely, she reluctantly called a friend to stash the hats back in the car. After all, she didn’t want to ruin the day for her fellow members of the Queens Village Republican Club. But as she later told the New York Post:

[T]he whole incident left her feeling like she’d stepped into a parallel universe where freedom of expression only applies if you’re expressing the ‘right’ opinion.

Moody lamented:

The United States of America is no longer the vehicle of freedom and tolerance. I am living under a communist regime where our freedoms are trampled upon.

Now, that might sound a bit dramatic, but when you consider how often Trump supporters find themselves at the wrong end of these situations, it’s not hard to see why she feels that way.

Moody tried to invoke her First Amendment rights, but was told her hat was “too political.” Really? In New York City, the same place where “too political” usually means “not progressive enough”? Moody couldn’t help but think that if she’d been sporting a Black Lives Matter hat or a Biden-Harris cap, she’d have been ushered in without a second glance.

The Mets organization quickly tried to cover their bases, issuing a statement that the employee had simply ‘misinterpreted’ the venue’s policy on attire.

They even offered Moody an apology and an invitation to return to the ballpark—sans MAGA hat, of course. But Moody wasn’t buying it. She saw it for what it was: political discrimination. After the game, when she tried to file a complaint, she was politely directed to an online form, the ultimate brush-off.

Moody’s experience is just the latest example of how Trump supporters are treated in blue states.

From being harassed in public to being censored on social media, it’s clear that tolerance is a one-way street in these supposedly progressive strongholds.

As Moody put it:

We are on the verge of communism… I support President Donald Trump because he’s the people’s president. He is the only one who can save the United States of America from destruction from within by the Democrats and the radical left.

Final thought: Everyday is MAGA hat day at the Mets’ stadium. Let’s Go Brandon.
