Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is leading the charge among a group of senators who are demanding the Obiden Regime end a “fundamentally-flawed” program.
Cruz went so far as to claim that The Regime has created a “parallel immigration system without congressional approval.”
This from thepatriotjournal.com.
The Obiden Regime recently restarted this controversial program despite discoveries of alleged fraud. This program allows 30,000 people to immigrate to the U.S. each month from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela.
Once in the states, those who take part in the program are given a two-year work permit.
[T]he Fraud Detection and National Security Directorate found over the summer that around 3,000 sponsors in the program had filed more than 100,000 forms.
In another disturbing twist, it was discovered that some of the sponsors were using phone numbers that belonged to dead people. They were also reportedly using addresses of storage units and fake zip codes.
Biden’s DHS paused CHNV back in July “out of an abundance of caution.” At the time, they promised “additional vetting” in the future. Just six weeks later, however, The Regime quietly restarted CHNV.
In a letter that was sent to Attorney General Merrick Garland and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Cruz and his fellow senators demanded The Regime terminate the “ineffective, unlawful, and hazardous” CHNV program “immediately.”
From The Blaze:
This fundamentally-flawed program must be permanently dismantled. The program has not only facilitated widespread fraud, but has also exposed serious vulnerabilities in our immigration system, leading to dire consequences for public safety. The tragic sexual assault and murder of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray by two Venezuelan illegal aliens indicates the dangers posed by the Biden-Harris administration’s immigration policies.
According to the senators, the program is unlawful and has ‘pervasive failure in oversight.’
‘By establishing a categorical program based on nationality, the Biden administration created a parallel immigration system without congressional approval,’ the senators stated.
‘There have been many instances of crimes, such as sexual assault, rape, and murder committed by CHNV participants,’ they noted. ‘Sammers have been charging up to $5,000 for sponsorship, which underscores the program’s vulnerability to exploitation by traffickers and other malicious actors.’
You might recall Haitian immigration came up during the debate. Indeed, Donald Trump made a number of claims about the chaos that has allegedly ensued as a result of Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio.
This disturbing program was stopped due to what appears to be massive fraud, only to be quietly restarted just a few weeks later. The Regime is in a rush to get CHNV off the ground. But such blatant fraud warrants more than just a few weeks of the program being paused. Officials should be taking time to consider if CHNV should even continue.
Unsurprisingly, The Regime is perpetrating this shady program. They have spent years prioritizing illegal aliens over the well-being and safety of American people. They’re after the illegal vote not the well-being of America and Americans.
At some point soon indictments must be served, however, this will not occur until President Trump’s return.
