Let’s Not Look Back Except to Hold Accountable Those Who Were So Terribly Wrong—Vengeance Is Mine…

The liberal elites of Hollywood were handed the shock of their lives when their beloved What’s Her Name was rightfully defeated in last week’s presidential election.

These wealthy stars are so out of touch with reality they thought there was no way Trump could win.

Instead, Trump defeated What’s Her Name not only in the Electoral College but also in the popular vote. This undoubtedly has sent shockwaves through the radically leftwing world of Hollywood.

Many of the biggest names who endorsed the losing cause, however, have been totally silent since her defeat. Indeed, in the weeks leading up to the election, stars who campaigned aggressively include Oprah Winfrey, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, George Clooney, Beyoncé, Bruce Springsteen, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Since Trump was victorious, however, we’ve heard nothing but crickets from these celebrities. PR expert Doug Eldridge is now speaking out to reveal why exactly they are being so quiet.

From Fox News:

‘There’s a variety of reasons why that might be the case,’ Eldridge, founder of Achilles PR, told Fox News Digital.

‘Strategically speaking, had it been closer, you might be hearing more fervent rebukes and calls to ‘resist’ from the celebrity class. However, Trump dominated the Electoral College and won the popular vote. The voters, which is a synonym for ‘fans’ in this case, spoke loud and clear. Partisan celebs might have lost the election, but they cannot afford to isolate and lose their fans as well.’

‘Not everything in life requires a prepared statement or a fully carved-out position,’ he added. ‘Simply allowing the results to settle, the fans to calm and the daily routine to progress, is itself a reasonable, deescalating response.’

Oprah spoke at the Democratic National Convention in August. The night before Election Day, she also appeared with What’s Her Name at her final rally in Philadelphia. Since then, however, Oprah has not said a word about the election results.

Last month, Lopez infamously broke down in tears as she begged Americans to vote for her candidate at a rally in Las Vegas. She is currently conducting various interviews to promote her new movie Unstoppable, giving her many opportunities to discuss the election results. Instead, Lopez has stayed silent about her candidate’s ass-kicking loss.

As for Unstoppable, what are the odds any self-respecting Conservatives will pay to see it?

Meanwhile, Swift made headlines when she publicly endorsed What’s Her Name in September. She was most recently seen at her Kansas City Chiefs tight-end boyfriend Travis Kelce’s game on Sunday. Like Oprah and Lopez, however, Swift has yet to break her silence about Trump’s victory.

From Breitbart:

Swift is reportedly seeing ticket prices fall for the latest leg of her Eras tour—in some cases, prices have dropped by hundreds of dollars.

Eldridge suggests that celebrities be a little more careful in the future about sharing their political views publicly—despite the amount of money they are paid for selling out their ethical wellbeing.

Eldridge said:

Today, athletes and celebrities are far more politically outspoken, but at a certain point, it comes at a price.

As a celebrity, there’s a delicate balance between speaking your mind and sharing your values versus isolating and polarizing your fan base.

Further:

The latter comes at a calculable expense.

As I always tell clients, ‘Measure twice, cut once’ when it comes to sharing your political views with the general public.

Final thoughts: The insane policies of The Obiden Regime have severely harmed tens of millions of Americans. I intend to do my best to boycott anyone who spoke and worked against We the People.

Retribution is not for me to hand out, “‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord,” Romans 12:19, but I can decline to spend my money on Leftists’ products and entertainment.
