Russia Fires Nuclear-Capable Intercontinental Ballistic Missile into Ukraine for First Time (Videos)

In a significant escalation of the conflict, Russia has fired an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) into Ukraine.

This from slaynews.com.

In an attack on Ukraine early Thursday morning, Kiev has confirmed Russia launched various missiles, including an ICBM, from the Astrakhan region.

Ukraine’s Air Force said on its Telegram account:

[Defenses] destroyed six Kh-101 cruise missiles using anti-aircraft combat.

According to the Financial Times a senior Ukrainian military official in Ukraine’s Air Force Command said:

Russia launched an ICBM called ‘RS-26 Rubezh.’

Further:

The Russian attack hit critical infrastructure in the central-eastern Ukrainian city of Dnipro.

This comes after Ukraine—in an act authorized by Joe Biden on Sunday—fired US-made MGM-140 Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) and British Storm Shadow missiles to strike military targets deep within Russia on Tuesday.

Ukraine’s attack marked the first time it had fired deep into Russia in the 1,000 days of war.

Many believe the Deep State in America is acting out a desperate effort to remain viable by seeking to escalate the war in the months before President-elect Donald Trump is scheduled to be sworn into the presidency.

NOTE: President Trump has promised peace and to swiftly end the conflict.

If the attack did involve an ICBM, it would mark a major escalation in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and the first time such a weapon has been used.

These missiles have a range of 3,700 miles and can strike any European capital.

An RS-26 Rubezh can be used to deliver a thermonuclear warhead or an Avangard hypersonic glide vehicle.

Thursday morning’s attack on the Dnipro region was a non-nuclear, conventional warhead.

Pavel Podvig, a senior researcher at the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research, wrote on X:

Using these kinds of missiles, whether RS-26 or a true ICBM, in a conventional role does not make a lot of sense because of their relatively low accuracy and high cost.

Further:

But this kind of a strike might have a value as a signal.

There are currently no reports of injuries or fatalities.

Videos posted on X show what could be warheads from the ICBM striking targets in Dnipro.

WATCH:

The apparent move by The Obiden Regime to provoke an escalation of the war before Trump takes office is seen as one of many possible desperate last gasps to prevent another Trump presidency.

U.S. officials have since closed the U.S. Embassy in Kiev “out of an abundance of caution.”

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters:

It’s a very dangerous position that the outgoing administration is taking.

Further:

There is a new escalation happening.

Final thoughts: Keep the faith, and pray that Trump and Putin are communicating and peace will prevail.

If Trump is successful in preventing further conflict, war crimes charges may very well be considered for Obama and Biden, and perhaps others in The Regime.
