What used to be an enjoyable time with family and friends has—more likely than not—devolved into a total pain in the ass. Not because cooking is a chore or we are not happy to see one another, but because there will inevitably be one or more of them who are simply miserable Leftists sour over the humiliating loss the communist/globalist crime syndicate (and their self-esteem) suffered in the recent election.
Recall: It was Barack Hussein Obama who pulled us and our beloved country apart for the purpose of diminishing America. We are young against old, black against white, east and west against the middle, north against south, rich against poor, laborers against professionals, etc., etc. And, again, we are to come together as if life in America was still 1959.
Let’s face it, our Leftist relatives and friends had been watching, reading, and listening to the lying propaganda media telling them the orange man is bad and does not stand a chance of defeating What’s her Name. Now, it’s no wonder they are dumbfounded, distraught, and indignant. And without a doubt some are so damn consumed with political defeat they cannot put it aside and simply enjoy a meal for Christ’s sake.
Recall four years ago, Conservatives were forced to suck it up and accept the steal while the Left gloated. Many of our numbers were even arrested for doubting the presidential election. Dozens if not hundreds—four years later—are still incarcerated for questioning a stolen election.
Did any of us spend Thanksgiving 2020 whining endlessly about Joe Biden? Probably not. Nor did we likely spend any of the subsequent Thanksgivings lecturing the guests about how the election was stolen or that The Regime is destroying America, or that Dementia Joe was progressing down the trail of senility, or that the queer Kenyan moslem was running the country to hell from the basement of the White House.
And if we did a bit, so what. The Left was gloating about the steal; we were speaking facts.
Wrong as it is, it’s true. People who believed that trash being spewed by the likes of MSNBC and CNN, etc., etc. are more likely than not to be dumbfounded, distraught, and indignant and rather than having been prepared for the Trump thumping, the miserable bast**ds who cannot handle losing or that anyone would disagree with them insist on bringing their misery to out Thanksgiving dinner.
Conspiracy theorist and congenital liar Rachel Maddow has conditioned the feebleminded to believe every wild plot twist the dark recesses of the progressive dark web cooks up, and Joy Reid marinates in racism for the self-hating white suburban crowd and anyone outside that group refusing to acknowledge their complicity in their own shortcomings and failures.
Reid has advised these people to avoid anyone who voted differently this Thanksgiving; so, now may We the People take her up on her offer. Our lives will be better off if we choose not to be around these people, “who will be compelled to tell [us] why they are not coming, [and then] come anyway.”
Honestly, at this point these people have already removed themselves from our lives. In the buildup to the election or at any point since Donald Trump rode down his escalator in 2015, they have been slowly backing away because they were certain we of Conservatism were not thinking correctly. Let them be gone. If they want to come back later, fine—there will likely be some reason an old friend needs someone they know they can trust, “should they snap out of the grasp of the progressive groupthink cult.” Until then, let us not waste our time with them.
Our holiday season will be much more enjoyable if we choose to eliminate from our gatherings those who accept the advice from Joy Reid and other similar dingbats, no matter how close they once were to us. Afterall, if they have become so damn extreme over politics, they must certainly be mentally defective. It’s not us, it’s them. It was always them and it was always going to be them. Trump did not break them, he exposed them. The leftist media broke them, and we cannot be held responsible for trying to fix them. Let’s accept that and move on.
