Under The Obiden Regime, ICE rolled out its ATD program. Sounds fancy, right?
In reality, it’s a glorified ‘catch and release’ scheme that has allowed nearly 180,000 illegal immigrants—who are inadmissible under federal law—to roam freely across the U.S.
The ATD program, introduced by Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, was meant to monitor individuals using technology like smartphone apps and GPS ankle monitors. But as critics have pointed out, it’s more like a revolving door than a robust enforcement strategy.
The data tells the story. The majority of these individuals are living in Texas, California, Illinois, and Florida, but no state is untouched. California alone accounts for over 33,000 illegal residents under this program.
And while ICE touts its fancy SmartLINK Facial Matching program as a way to ensure compliance, the results suggest otherwise.
Many of these individuals have simply disappeared, removing their ankle monitors and vanishing into communities far from the border.
But help is on the way. President-elect Donald Trump is already gearing up to reverse Biden’s disastrous policies.
Trump’s newly appointed border czar, Tom Homan, has laid out a plan to enforce existing immigration laws and end the ATD program. Homan has been a vocal critic of The Regime’s approach, calling it not only illegal but dangerous.
ICE has identified over 662,000 non-citizens with criminal histories slated for deportation, including nearly 15,000 charged with homicide and over 20,000 charged with sexual assault. That’s not a statistic; that’s a public safety emergency.
Homan has highlighted the human cost of The Regime’s failures. “Preventing illegal entry saves lives,” he argued, pointing to the increasing number of Americans killed by individuals who should never have been released in the first place.
– The consequences of Biden’s policies extend far beyond the border states. Law enforcement agencies across the country are arresting non-citizens, only to find out they were released under the ATD program.
– Some of these individuals have gone on to commit horrific crimes, including rape and murder. These aren’t isolated incidents—they’re a direct result of Biden’s refusal to enforce federal immigration laws.
Biden’s legacy is one of chaos and mismanagement. His immigration policies have been a tremendous financial burden to our beloved country and they have put American lives at risk.
