The White House has confirmed that lame-duck Dementia Joe is trying to funnel “as much funding as possible” to the “climate change” group as he can before his term of assumption ends next month.
This from slaynews.com.
The Obiden Regime is seeking to rapidly disperse taxpayer-funded climate cash before President Donald Trump is sworn in to power, with hopes of cementing the green energy agenda by the time Trump assumes the Oval Office in January.
In a memo released by the White House, Jeff Zients, the Obiden chief of staff, boasted they are pumping as much climate cash “as possible before the end of the term.”
Zients said:
[T]he administration is going to sprint to the finish line and get as much done as possible for the American people in the remaining weeks.
Further:
[They plan] to obligate as much funding as possible before the end of the term.
Translation: We intend to piss away as many tax dollars as possible and try to commit the incoming president to this worthless bulls**t.
The plan involves dishing out unspent funds from the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) to support globalist “climate change” projects. And the White House also said that Americans can “expect more action” on funding from the IRA—the Leftist climate legislation that was thinly disguised as an economic plan.
Trump has suggested that he would
‘undo’ the IRA when he becomes president.
He described the legislation as the “greatest scam in history.”
Some House Republicans, who secured a majority in the chamber in the next Congress, have signaled support for reworking the climate bill.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) told CNBC:
[Y]ou’ve got to use a scalpel and not a sledgehammer on the legislation.
However, some doubt the IRA would be completely overturned—most of the funds in the IRA have already been awarded.
White House spokesperson Andrew Bates warned against Republicans and the incoming Trump administration attempting to undo Biden’s agenda.
In a memo first obtained by NBC News, Bates said:
Repealing Biden’s signature laws would be a historic redistribution of wealth from working Americans to Big Pharma and China.
Further:
[D]espite potential pushback, projects under the IRA have been locked in.
He also suggested that Republican districts are benefiting from the IRA.
He wrote:
That includes the creation of over 330,000 clean energy jobs—disproportionately in House districts represented by Republicans.
Further:
Because of the Inflation Reduction Act, we’ve already saved more than 3.4 million Americans $8.4 million on clean energy upgrades to their homes, and more than 300,000 Americans have saved over $2 billion upfront on [electric vehicle] purchases.
Bates did not include any evidence for these claims, however.
Final thought: As Bates tries to justify the IRA boondoggle transfer of funds, Conservatism in unison raises their wristwatch arms high into the air and cries out, ‘Save your watches, the bullsh*t has already ruined our shoes.’
