If one believes Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s office, she is on the mend after suffering a nasty fall down a stairway in Luxembourg Thursday.
This from survivethenews.com.
As The Gateway Pundit reported:
Pelosi was hospitalized after falling downstairs while traveling in Luxembourg as a part of a bipartisan Congressional delegation to mark the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge.
She received treatment from medical professionals in the tiny European country and was forced to cancel the rest of her engagements.
The New York Times later revealed:
[T]he 84-year-old Pelosi suffered a fractured hip during her fall, which was the reason for her hospitalization.
Obviously, We the People know how potentially dire such an injury could prove to an elderly person like Pelosi. Many worry she will be forced to retire from Congress.
However, her spokesperson, Ian Krager, posted an update this morning to assure the public that all is well.
He claimed:
[Rep.] Pelosi underwent ‘successful’ surgery this morning at Landstuhl Army Base in Germany and will be fine.
Krager’s official statement read:
Early this morning, Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi underwent a successful hip replacement and is now well on the mend.
Further:
Speaker Pelosi is grateful to the U.S. military staff at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center at Landstuhl Army Base and medical staff at Hospital Kirchberg in Luxembourg for their excellent care and kindness.
As TGP readers well know:
Pelosi has had disturbing episodes that have raised serious concerns regarding her health. For years, she has been seen during press conferences and interviews not only slurring her words but also having brain freezes.
Despite these concerns, she did file for re-election last month.
While Pelosi’s reported recovery is welcome news, her narcissistic desire to hold on to power at all costs should provide a strong sense of urgency in imposing congressional term limits.
Final thoughts: Suspicions aside, on a positive note, although Nancy Pelosi suffered a bad fall and a broken hip, we have reason to believe she did not spill her drink.
