Trump Plans to Restore America’s Energy Output, Will Announce Emergency on Day One to Remove Biden Restrictions

The American dream used to include affordable electricity, reliable transportation, and the freedom to choose how to power our homes and businesses.

But for millions of families across the country, The Obiden Regime has turned that dream upside down and the dream has turned into an economic crisis.

This from thepatriotjournal.com.

From California to Maine, working Americans are opening their utility bills with growing dread. A retired teacher in Pennsylvania recently broke down in tears when her winter heating bill topped $600—triple what she paid just three years ago.

A small business owner in Michigan had to lay off two employees just to keep up with skyrocketing energy costs.

According to Department of Energy data released in January 2025:

[R]esidential electricity costs have surged by a verified 32% since January 2021.

The massive increase has hit American families right where it hurts—in their wallets. And the extreme environmental agenda pushing these increases shows no signs of slowing down.

At his January 7 press conference at Mar-a-Lago, President-elect Donald Trump laid out the stark reality facing American families. While The Obiden Regime champions expensive climate policies, everyday Americans are paying an unprecedented price.

Diana Furchtgott-Roth, former chief economist at the Department of Labor, explained:

The residential cost of electricity has risen by 32% since January 2021.

With 50 states, each with their own ways of producing electricity, it’s clear that the required use of renewables leads to higher prices.

The evidence is undeniable:

Department of Energy data shows that nine of the ten states with the highest electricity prices have mandatory renewable energy requirements.

Meanwhile, nine of the ten states with the lowest prices have no such mandates.

Trump’s solution is both bold and immediate:

declare a national energy emergency his first day in office.

The comprehensive plan, announced at Mar-a-Lago on January 7, 2025, will:

– End Biden’s restrictions on energy production,

– Cancel the EPA’s electric vehicle mandate,

– Eliminate costly renewable energy incentives, and

– Reverse the January 2025 natural gas export ban.

Trump declared:

We’re going to restore American energy dominance.

No more paying $96,000 for an electric Silverado when a regular truck costs $42,300. That’s not the American way.

The timing could not be more critical. European nations implementing similar green policies are already facing economic disaster.

According to the German Federal Statistical Office, their industrial sector expects a 3% production decline in 2025, marking their third consecutive year of losses.

Energy expert Furchtgott-Roth noted:

These poorly considered climate regulations impoverish Americans while enriching China.

Four more years of these policies will cost our nation billions through subsidies and higher energy costs, while only reducing global temperatures by a fraction of a degree by 2100.

According to U.S. Energy Information Administration data:

Under the current administration’s policies, average family energy costs have increased by $2,800 annually.

Trump’s emergency declaration aims to reverse these increases through immediate action.

Trump emphasized at the Mar-a-Lago announcement:

America has abundant energy resources. We’re sitting on more energy wealth than any other nation. It’s time to use it.
