California Governor Gavin Newsom remains utterly oblivious to his role in the worst wildfire disaster in American history.
Entertainingly, despite the sadness felt by so many, he humiliated himself on social media Friday afternoon while trying to attack President Trump.

[A] massive 3,000-acre wildfire raged out of control and engulfed homes in Pacific Palisades, California, on Tuesday afternoon.
Shocking and heartbreaking footage has emerged showing people abandoning their cars and running for their lives as the fire closes in.
Tragically, many have lost their homes, entire livelihoods, and some even their lives over the past several days as fires have spread all across Southern California and show no signs of abating. Meanwhile, firefighters are having issues with water pressure due to the ineptitude of politicians.
The fires would not have been so severe had California politicians—led by Newsom—utilized common-sense solutions such as clearing out the dead brush in the woods and filling the state’s depleted aquifers with water.
But Newsom is not letting facts get in the way of snarking at Trump, who called him out earlier this week. On Friday, Newsom sent a nasty message accusing Trump of politicizing the tragedy while also ‘inviting’ him to visit California.
But Trump will not fall for this trap.
Newsom wrote on X:
Donald Trump, as you prepare to assume the presidency once more, I invite you to come to California.
The hundreds of thousands of Americans—displaced from their homes and fearful for the future—deserve to see us all working together in their best interests, not politicizing a human tragedy and spreading disinformation from the sidelines.
