Eight Years Later, the Trump Honeymoon Arrives—And the Stage Is Set for an Even More Successful Administration

The Trump honeymoon, the one the President and First Lady should have received after his first election in 2016, has finally arrived, eight years late.

Unfortunately, when he shocked the political world with his victory over Hillary Clinton, Trump was not greeted with congratulatory calls from the Left hoping to work on bi-partisan initiatives. Instead, he was met with a well-funded left-wing campaign to sabotage his Electoral College victory.

When the Trump electors stayed true to the President, at least sixty communist/globalist members of Congress boycotted his inauguration. To tarnish his inauguration even further, enraged progressives sponsored a massive “Women’s March” in Washington D.C. and cities throughout the country.

Several weeks later, U.S. Representative Maxine Waters (C/G-CA) announced support for Trump’s impeachment.

She said:

I hope he’s not there for four years…my greatest desire is to lead him right into impeachment.

In the beginning of his term, Trump faced the ridiculous claims of the “Steele Dossier” promoted by the Clinton campaign and elements of the FBI. This led to the “Russian collusion” investigation based on no evidence and the hiring of Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

The Mueller investigation—directed by a team of rabid Leftist attorneys—failed to find anything to charge President Trump. It cost taxpayers $32 million and lasted two years, in which President Trump had to respond to phony charges and partisan attacks.

Thereafter, Waters received her wish, and Trump was subjected to two undeserved and outrageous impeachments. It was followed by an FBI raid on his Mar-a-Lago home, unprecedented lawfare, a sham congressional investigation into the activities of January 6, four criminal cases and dozens of unfair charges, outlandish civil judgments, a mug shot, an outrageous felony conviction, and two assassination attempts.

No other political leader in the world could have survived such a series of targeted attacks, but, thankfully, Donald Trump prevailed and has more than proven he is uniquely qualified to serve as President of the United States. He responded to each attack, including the Butler, Pennsylvania assassination attempt, with incredible bravery, courage, tenacity, determination, and a vow to “Fight, Fight, Fight.”

Because of his popular platform, his admirable personal characteristics, and the weakness of his opposition, Trump won an electoral vote landslide in November. He also won every competitive, “swing” state and was the first Republican presidential candidate to win the popular vote since 2004.

Due to his overwhelming victory in November, the communist/globalist crime syndicate did not try to persuade his electors to abandon him or challenge the results in Congress, where he was certified the winner of the election.

Today, Trump’s popularity is unquestionable. He is enjoying the highest approval ratings of his political career. According to a new CNN poll, conducted by SSRS:

President Trump has a 55% approval rating for his handling of the transition and 56% of Americans believe he will succeed as President in his second term. This is much higher approval than he received in 2017 when only 40% of Americans approved of his transition and only 48% believed he would succeed as President.

Since his election to a second term as President, Trump has used the transition period to assemble a stellar cabinet and meet with world leaders. He has also reached out to prominent members of the Left and has even met with billionaires who did not support him previously, such as Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg.

In the process, Trump is uniting the country in a way few pundits would have predicted. Through the force of his diplomacy and strength, a ceasefire deal was struck between Israel and Hamas, and the release of long-suffering hostages has begun.

Better late than never, in 2025, Trump and his First Lady are finally enjoying the post-victory honeymoon that every other President and First Lady received. In contrast, the C/G CS are unpopular and in total disarray. Many on the Left are unsure how to deal with another Trump presidency, some of the smart ones, however, like New York City Mayor Eric Adams and U.S. Senator John Fetterman (C/G-PA), are trying to find common ground and are open to collaborating with him. Notably, the number who boycotted his inauguration was down to approximately a dozen.

Unlike the last election, President Trump enjoys a mandate today. He has also learned how to navigate the federal bureaucracy and ensure his supporters are placed in top positions. He has selected strong cabinet nominees who agree with his platform, so the disloyalty he endured in his first term will not reoccur.

And speaking of mandates, when Melania Trump stood behind her husband, President-elect Donald Trump, during his inauguration, she made a statement that transcended words. Her choice of attire, particularly the navy boater-style hat, sent a clear and unspoken message:

The Trump era [is] not only entering

a new chapter but reclaiming its narrative.

The stage is now set for an even more successful administration and for President Trump to “Make America Great Again,” AGAIN!!
