President Trump announced Monday night he had signed four executive orders that will reshape the military, including banning transgender service members from serving in the U.S. armed forces; gutting the military’s diversity, equity and inclusion programs; and reinstating with back pay service members who were discharged for refusing to get vaccinated from Covid-19.
This from msn.com.
Trump previously signed an executive order in 2021 barring trans people from serving before Joe Biden reversed the order in his first days after assuming the position.
The New York Post reported, however, that Trump’s new orders will go further.
Here are the details courtesy on Monday’s transgender executive order:
They lay out military standards on pronouns and gender identity and directly prohibit thousands of transgender service members from the military, citing issues with mental and physical readiness.
A White House document previewing the order on transgender soldiers detailed:
Unit cohesion requires high levels of integrity and stability among service members.
[There can be] no accommodation for anything less than resilience, strength, and the ability to withstand extraordinary physical demands. Individuals who are unable to meet these requirements are unable to serve in the military. This has been the case for decades.
It can take a minimum of 12 months for an individual to complete treatments after transition surgery, which often involves the use of heavy narcotics. During this period, they are not physically capable of meeting military readiness requirements and require ongoing medical care. This is not conducive for deployment or other readiness requirements.
The Post noted President Trump’s executive order on trans people in the military also mandates Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth to bar:
The use of invented and identification-based pronouns in the armed forces, prohibit biological males and females from sleeping, changing and using bathing facilities intended for the opposite sex, and update all Department of Defense medical standards to ensure they prioritize readiness and lethality.
The Gateway Pundit reported last year:
[President] Trump would remove transgender service members from the military on Day One of his presidency and was expected to be wider-ranging than the one made during his first term in office. While this came a week later than expected, this reporting has proven accurate otherwise.
According to reports:
There are currently nearly 14,700 trans people serving in the military.
The second order on DEI mandates that all instances of alleged ‘discrimination’ based on the toxic ideology of DEI will be subject to an internal review by SecDef Hegseth. This will likely put multiple career defense officials, including generals, on the chopping block.
Furthermore, the order will ban all agencies dedicated to DEI in the military while directing SecDef Hegseth and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem to remove DEI and gender ideology garbage at the U.S. service academies.
This goes to prove further that Trump 2.0 is a far more efficient letter machine compared to Trump’s first term, where he had Deep State bureaucrats sabotaging him at every turn. With a more vigilant Trump and loyal staff, the new golden age of America has officially arrived.
Final thoughts: Promises made, promises kept. President Trump continues to fulfill his promises to America in record fashion.
God speed Mr. President and thank you.
