The ‘Speed of Trump’ continues.
The following is an installment of Trump-Vance team accomplishments (each article is linked for further info):
1. A Re-Look at President Trump’s Gaza Initiative
Recall, during a joint press conference with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Trump proposed an impromptu solution to the Gaza problem.
The President matter-of-factly stated:
The U.S. will take charge
of the wasteland and turn it into a garden spot.
He caught the crowd of reporters flatfooted—some aghast. Some scoffed in disbelief and others mocked. But a few, including the Israeli prime minister, thought it a smashing idea.
The President explained:
This [Gaza] is just a demolition site. Virtually every building is down. … The US will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it, too.
In a Truth Social post, the U.S. leader doubled down, having explained:
The Gaza Strip would be turned over to the United States by Israel at the conclusion of fighting…The US, working with great development teams from all over the world, would slowly and carefully begin the construction of what would become one of the greatest and most spectacular developments of its kind on Earth. No soldiers by the US would be needed! Stability for the region would reign!!!
Getting rid of Hamas is Israel’s job, and the Israel Defense Force is ready to do that. Once peace is established, the reconstruction can begin.
For those who believe such an undertaking is too big or not feasible for some other reason, remember that, in 1983, Saudi Arabia built a complex of 44 high-rise towers and over 840 villas in one year.
Also, in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, the Burj Khalifa (or the Khalifa Tower) is marketed as ‘The centerpiece of a large-scale, mixed-use development to include 30,000 homes, nine hotels (including The Address Downtown Dubai), 3 hectares (7.4 acres) of parkland, at least 19 residential skyscrapers, the Dubai Mall, and the 12-hectare (30-acre) artificial Burj Khalifa Lake.’
Benjamin Netanyahu declared:
This is the first good idea that I’ve heard.
If there are better ideas to bring peace and decent living conditions to Gaza, they are well-kept secrets.
2. Energy Secretary Wright instructs DOE to Unleash Energy Abundance and Refill SPR as Quickly as Permissible
Wednesday the new Energy Secretary Chris Wright stated in a memo:
[W]e have an opportunity to promote energy abundance, demonstrate leadership in scientific and technological innovation, [and] steward and strengthen our weapons stockpile to meet Cold War legacy waste clean-up commitments.
During Wright’s confirmation hearing last month, climate protestors repeatedly disrupted the meeting, and legacy media outlets portrayed Wright as a climate change skeptic immediately after Trump tapped him to lead the department.
Dana Perino, host of Fox News’ America’s Newsroom, asked Wright how he would respond to this treatment in the media going forward.
He stated:
– to refill the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, and
– [to permit] energy projects, support for nuclear energy development, and modernizing the U.S. nuclear weapons stockpile.
President Trump’s reaction to Rep. Maxine Waters (C/G-CA) and her fellow Leftist nuts’ attempt to storm the Department of Education building on Friday morning did not disappoint.
Trump stated:
I see Maxine Waters, a low-life, I see all these people, they don’t love our Country.
Further:
So they rank 40 countries in education. We’re ranked DEAD LAST.
Massive government subsidies to achieve disastrous results.
Trump continued:
The ‘good news’ is we’re number one in one category: cost per pupil. We spend more per pupil than any other country in the world.
Further:
You look at Norway, Denmark…Various countries up and down…and then you look at us. We spend much more money than they do.
And:
In Biden’s last year, we’re ranked dead last. So what I would like to see is (school) choice, but beyond choice, I want to see it go back to the States.
[There are] great states that have no debt…They will be as good as Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and any of the other highly ranked countries.
5. Federal Judge Blocks Leftist Efforts to Stop Musk and DOGE from Accessing Dept of Labor Data
A lawsuit—brought by one of the largest labor unions in the U.S.—aimed to obstruct what they described as Musk’s “imminent plan” to delve into the Labor Department’s systems.
On Wednesday, the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations, along with four of its affiliated unions and the Economic Policy Institute, filed a lawsuit to block Elon Musk and his DOGE team from gaining access to Department of Labor data.
The unions argued that such data sharing would violate the Privacy Act of 1974 and potentially jeopardize the privacy of workers across the nation.
AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler said:
Elon Musk has absolutely no business raiding the Department of Labor to obtain the sensitive personal information of workers.
However, U.S. District Judge John Bates, an appointee of former President George W. Bush, saw through the thinly veiled attempt by the left to handcuff efforts aimed at rooting out government waste and fraud.
Judge Bates ruled the plaintiffs failed to establish standing, a crucial legal threshold required to proceed with their claim.
6. Trump Axes Kennedy Center Board Members, Names World Leader As New Chairman
Friday afternoon, President Trump axed several board members from the Kennedy Center and announced a famous new chairman—none other than Donald J. Trump himself.
It is time for a new “Golden Age in Arts and Culture,” Trump posted to social media:

The President obviously was not happy with the direction of the storied organization, which was created by Congress and whose Center for the Performing Arts debuted in 1971.
According to the announcement on Truth Social:
Trump claimed he and current chair David Rubenstein ‘do not share [the same] Vision for a Golden Age in Arts and Culture.’
He said a new board would be announced soon, adding the new chairman, naming himself, is ‘amazing.’
Trump wrote in the post:
Just last year, the Kennedy Center featured Drag Shows specifically targeting our youth — THIS WILL STOP.
Mamma mia! Spend a Sunday brunching in the Roof Terrace restaurant with some of D.C.'s most fabulous drag performers on Sep. 15.🎊
Don't miss this bottomless mimosa brunch and glittering celebration of disco hits. 🤩🥂 Reserve your spot ➡ https://t.co/tqK92UKaxL pic.twitter.com/LOOmEp1y58

Interestingly enough, the move must have captured the attention of certain people because the Center’s website has this:
The Speed of Trump has been at the helm for a little over two weeks, but it feels like months, so much has happened.
God speed Mr. President.
