Quick Takes from the Past 24-48 Hours

The ‘Speed of Trump’ continues.

The following is an installment of Trump-Vance team accomplishments (each article is linked for further info):

1. DHS Head Enforces Alien Registration Act, Requiring Migrants to be Fingerprinted by Government

America’s immigration system has been a disaster for far too long. Open borders, catch-and-release policies, and sanctuary cities have made a mockery of our laws. Treasonously, the Obiden Regime was on a deliberate path of transforming America into a third-world sh**hole.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is enforcing a long-ignored law that will fundamentally change how America handles illegal aliens.

NOTE: All undocumented immigrants must now register with the federal government.

From The Post Millennial:

‘The Alien Registration Act says that within 30 days of being in this country illegally, someone must register with the federal government, they will be fingerprinted,’ Noem said.

This is not a new law. It has been on the books since 1940. But unlike previous administrations that chose to ignore it, the Trump administration is actually enforcing it.

In her announcement, Noem made the requirements crystal clear:

They must announce that they are here. And if they do so, they can avoid criminal charges and fines, and we will help them relocate right back to their home country.

No more hiding in the shadows. No more sanctuary cities providing cover. The message is simple: register or face consequences.

The registry applies to all undocumented immigrants aged 14 and older who have been in the United States for 30 days or longer. Parents or guardians must register children under 14.

The DHS will then issue “evidence of registration” documentation that all undocumented migrants over 18 “must carry and keep in their possession at all times.”

2. Trump Pushes for “Gold Card” Immigration Program to Replace Corrupt EB-5

In a stunning announcement from the Oval Office Tuesday, President Trump revealed a game-changing new visa program that will revolutionize how wealthy foreigners can gain access to American residency.

Trump declared:

We’re going to be selling a ‘Gold Card.’

You have a green card, this is a gold card. We’re going to be putting a price on that card of about $5 million, and that’s going to give you green card privileges, it’s going to be a route to citizenship.

The new program will replace the existing EB-5 visa system, which Trump and his team criticized as ineffective and vulnerable to exploitation.

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick explained that under the new system, applicants would pay $5 million directly to the U.S. government. They will also need to make additional investments in the American economy. No more complicated schemes or loopholes. Just straight business.

Given the number of individuals in line, Lutnick said that would bring in $1.25 trillion for the U.S.

Further:

Imagine if we sell a million of them. That’s $5 trillion, and that pays off our debt, drives down interest rates and makes America amazing.

The current EB-5 visa program allows foreign investors to secure green cards by investing either $800,000 in targeted employment areas or $1.05 million elsewhere.

From The Post Millennial:

‘The EB-5 program was really, you lend some money but it was full of nonsense, make-believe, and fraud. It was a way to get a green card that was low price,’ Lutnick said.

3. Proposal by Republican Lawmaker Aims to Create $250 Bill Featuring President Trump

Representative Joe Wilson (R-SC) has announced he is drafting legislation to create a $250 bill featuring President Trump.

Rep. Wilson wrote in a post on X:

Grateful to announce I am drafting legislation to direct the Bureau of Engraving and Printing to design a $250 bill featuring Donald J. Trump. Biden-flation has destroyed the economy, forcing American families to carry more cash.

Further:

Most valuable bill for most valuable President!

Per WTLX:

According to Wilson’s policy advisor, the proposed bill would commemorate the nation’s 250th anniversary in 2026 while also recognizing what they describe as Trump’s efforts in battling inflation under [The Obiden Regime].

However, a long-standing federal law could pose a challenge. A provision passed in 1866 prohibits living individuals from appearing on U.S. currency. Wilson’s office stated that his legislation would address this issue, though details on how remain unclear.

4. Director of National Intelligence to Fire 100+ NSA Staffers Who Took Part in Online Sex Chats

For at least the last two years, NSA employees have turned Intelink into Smutlink, swamping it with talk of “sex, kink, polyamory, and castration,” and until now there is no indication anyone faced any disciplinary action for breaking the rules about how Intelink was supposed to be—or not supposed to be—used.

Further, some intelligence officials “spent all day” in meetings discussing topics such as “Privilege,” “Pride,” and “Transgender Community Inclusion.” One NSA officer insisted on being referred to as “it,” rather than “he” or “she.”

The good news is that it is about to lose its job. Monday evening, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard wrote:

This behavior is unacceptable and those involved WILL be held accountable. These disgusting chat groups were immediately shut down when @POTUS issued his EO ending the DEI insanity the Biden Admin was obsessed with. Our IC must be focused on our core mission: ensuring the safety, security, and freedom of the American people.

5. RFK Jr. Blocks Plans to Roll Out ‘Oral Covid Vaccine’

Kennedy issued a 90-day stop-work order to Vaxart Inc. to halt the development of the new product after he learned 10,000 individuals were scheduled to begin clinical trials on Monday.

HHS will utilize the 90-day hiatus to review Vaxart’s initial findings.

After the review, HHS may permanently shut down the human trials and continued drug development.

Under the Biden administration, approximately $460 million had been allotted to Vaxart by HHS to develop its new Covid “vaccine.”

$240 million of the funding had been authorized for the preliminary study.

In a statement about the move, Kennedy said:

While it is crucial that the Department [of] Health and Human Services support pandemic preparedness, four years of the Biden administration’s failed oversight have made it necessary to review agreements for vaccine production, including Vaxart’s.

Further:

I look forward to working with Vaxart and medical experts to ensure this work produces safe, effective, and fiscal-minded vaccine technology.

6. Trump Just Closed 120 IRS Offices Nationwide

The Trump administration is declaring war on one of America’s most notorious bureaucracies—the Internal Revenue Service.

From The Post Millennial:

The Trump administration is moving forward with plans to shut down more than 120 IRS offices that provide taxpayer assistance as part of a broader effort to reduce the federal government’s footprint and cut costs.

This dramatic reduction comes on the heels of laying off approximately 7,000 probationary IRS employees last week.

The closures target taxpayer assistance centers across the country. These are the offices the IRS claims provide in-person tax help by appointment.

The decision, outlined in a letter from the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), gives IRS employees 120 days to vacate affected offices once lease terminations are officially announced. Notifications to landlords are expected to begin immediately.
