The ‘Speed of Trump’ continues.
The following is an installment of Trump-Vance team accomplishments (each article is linked for further info):
1. New Poll Shows Only Old Democrats Trust the Media
Damn the Polls, right? Well, a recent Gallup survey denotes only 31% of Americans trust the media, 33% say they do not trust it very much and 36% say they do not trust it at all.
Now, the breakdown:
[T]he vast majority of Republicans (88%) and independents (74%) and nearly half of [Leftists] (46%) having low trust in the media.
Conversely, 12% of Republicans, 27% of independents and 54% of [Leftists] trust it “a great deal” or “a fair amount.”
And:
75% of [Leftists] over 65 trust the media, 63% of [Leftists] over 50 do, but only 45% of [Leftists] from 30-49 and only 31% of [Leftists] 18-29 [do].
The media continues puffing itself up but it is collapsing. It has no future.
2. The U.S. Navy Has Been Recruiting Chinese Nationals—Dumb Idea, Or What?
Facing recruiting shortfalls, the U.S. Navy began aggressively targeting foreign nationals in this country, including immigrants who do not speak English and people originating from enemy nations. Especially China. WTF, Over?
There are numerous examples of the wrongheadedness:
In two separate cases in the Southern and Central Districts of California, two U.S. Navy servicemembers were arrested for transmitting sensitive military information to the People’s Republic of China (PRC).
A U.S. Navy sailor, Jinchao Wei, aka Patrick Wei, was arrested yesterday on espionage charges as he arrived for work at Naval Base San Diego, the homeport of the Pacific Fleet.
A U.S. Navy servicemember, Petty Officer Wenheng Zhao, aka Thomas Zhao, 26, of Monterey Park, California, was arrested following an indictment by a federal grand jury, charging him with receiving bribes in exchange for transmitting sensitive U.S. military information to an individual posing as a maritime economic researcher, but who was actually an intelligence officer from the PRC.
Before that:
Ye Sang “Ivy” Wang, a former U.S. Navy sailor who was a Logistics Specialist First Class assigned to the Naval Special Warfare Command, was sentenced to 30 months in custody and ordered to pay a $20,000 fine for conspiring with her husband and co-defendant, Shaohua “Eric” Wang, to illegally export sensitive military equipment to China for profit.
Further:
Fan Yang, 34, a naturalized citizen of the United States and Lieutenant in the United States Navy residing in Jacksonville, Florida; Yang Yang, 33, wife of Fan Yang, and a naturalized citizen of the United States residing in Jacksonville, Florida; Ge Songtao, 49, a citizen and resident of the People’s Republic of China; and Zheng Yan, 27, a citizen and resident of the People’s Republic of China.
And:
Officials believe Lt Cdr Edward Lin, passed information to a Chinese girlfriend, the New York Times reported, external.
Plus, there are many more but obviously the Department of the Navy is clueless or complicit—they really need to add patriotism as a basic expectation.
3. Eat it, Europe—Trump and Vance Give the Old World a Dose of Its Own Medicine
Among European elites, America’s post-World War II image as “liberator” did not last long.
The French began resenting us the moment the waters off Normandy began turning red.
Yes, there are still occasions—such as wreath-layings at U.S. military cemeteries on the anniversary of V-E Day—when at least some Europeans gratefully recall their liberation.
But the idea of European leaders as our “partners” or “champions” is quite a stretch.
To those leaders and their colluding propaganda media puppets, America has long been the generous and indulgent parent whom they take for granted and treat with brat-like disrespect.
Trump has characterized America’s transatlantic relationship—and our relationship with much of the rest of the world, including Canada—as, in many senses, a one-way street. He’s right.
Even after America created the modern era, became the planet’s scientific and technological powerhouse, settled two world wars, and put men on the moon, even after the U.S. dollar became the international reserve currency and the U.S. Navy the guarantor of global trade and American universities the gold standard, even after many European countries formed democratic governments based in large part on the American system, European political and media elites continued to portray Americans as knuckle-dragging morons.
And it’s precisely this attitude that makes Trump’s return to power strike terror in Europe’s corridors of power. Again, Americans—behind Trump and Vance—are showing the European masses how it’s done.
4. Trump’s Blistering Statement About When Zelenskyy Can Return to the WH After Being Shown the Door
Trump and Vance told Zelenskyy he should be more grateful, the U.S. would not fund the war forever, and the hostilities need to come to an end via a peace deal very soon.
Zelenskyy learned the hard way the Obiden team is no longer handing him blank checks.

"You don’t have the cards right now… You’re gambling with WWIII," Trump told Zelensky.

The meeting did not go well; Zelenskyy was eventually shown the door.

Trump later put out this statement about when Zelenskyy can feel free to return to the White House:

Afterward a member of the press pool asked:
What if Russia breaks ceasefire? What do you do then?
The President replied:
What if anything? What if a bomb drops on your head right now?
It was vintage Trump. There is a new sheriff in D.C.
God speed Mr. President—end this war and fire Zelenskyy.
5. Trump To Sign Order Making English The Official U.S. Language
The order will establish a national language for the first time in the nation’s 250 year history.
CNBC reported:
Trump’s order would also rescind former President Clinton’s August 2000 directive requiring agencies and other recipients of federal funds to provide services for those with limited English proficiency.
[The] designation will allow federal agencies to maintain their current policies and continue to provide documents and services in other languages. But it ‘encourages new Americans to adopt a national language that opens doors to greater opportunities.
The Wall Street Journal was first to report the incoming order Friday morning, saying the move outlines a need for unity, efficiency and civic engagement.
6. Mexico Extradites 29 Prisoners to US—Including Murderous Drug Lord
In an apparent bid to gain favor with President Trump, who has promised to enact tariffs against Mexico starting March 4, the Mexican government has extradited 29 prisoners wanted by the feds to the U.S.
Trump threw down the gauntlet earlier Thursday in a Truth Social post:
Drugs are still pouring into our Country from Mexico and Canada at very high and unacceptable levels…
We cannot allow this scourge to continue to harm the USA, and therefore, until it stops, or is seriously limited, the proposed TARIFFS scheduled to go into effect on MARCH FOURTH will, indeed, go into effect, as scheduled.
Multiple social media users are reporting that this is Caro Quintero landing on US soil:
According to the Mexico Security Cabinet, these are some of the fine fellows about to face the music:
Meanwhile, does the threat of tariffs work? In this case, at least, the answer would certainly seem to be an unqualified “yes.”
7. Senate GOP Achieves Perfect 20-0 Record Confirming Trump Cabinet Nominees in Just 38 Days
Senate Republicans under Majority Leader John Thune have just accomplished something remarkable that’s sending shockwaves through Washington.
With a 53-47 majority in the Senate, GOP leadership carefully managed the confirmation process, knowing they could only afford to lose a couple of party members on any given vote.
With his Cabinet largely in place, President Trump held his first Cabinet meeting at the White House on Wednesday. The gathering included Elon Musk, who is overseeing the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) initiative.
During the meeting, Musk offered high praise for Trump’s selections, stating that the president “has put together, I think, the best Cabinet ever, literally.”
Just three Cabinet-level nominees remain to be confirmed: Labor Secretary nominee Lori Chavez-DeRemer, Education Secretary nominee Linda McMahon, and Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), nominee to become U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations.
