Former U.S. Army Special Forces veteran Jim Hanson revealed that USAID has misdirected millions of taxpayer dollars to terrorist organizations.

This bombshell came during his appearance on Fox Business’s The Evening Edit, where he detailed the findings of a Middle East Forum report showing $122 million flowing to radical groups and terrorist-linked organizations.
Hanson said:
The very idea of our tax dollars going to fund terrorist groups is intolerable.
On the second day of the [Trump] administration, the Middle East Forum sent in a report that detailed that $122 million that Greg Roman was talking about when he testified.
This is not merely administrative incompetence. This is a national security disaster—and to the level of treason.
We the People are left to wonder: Who in Washington was watching where our tax dollars were going? If this was intentional, which we suspect it was, then the definition of treason has been met. All we need now is a second witness.
The specifics are even more alarming:
Just days before Hamas’ October 7 attack on Israel, Joe Biden’s USAID allocated over $900,000 to a charity in Gaza linked to the son of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.
Let that sink in. American money “potentially supporting” the very terrorists who would soon launch one of the deadliest attacks against our ally.

Further:
World Vision, a major recipient of USAID funding, received nearly $2 billion over the past two decades. They facilitated a $125,000 grant to an entity linked to Al-Qaeda’s precursor, even after receiving explicit warnings.
In 2023, Helping Hand for Relief and Development received $78,000 from USAID, despite connections to the orchestrator of the 2008 Mumbai attacks.
These are not isolated incidents. To call this a systemic failure of oversight and responsibility is egregious. This is treason. And it is the result of unelected bureaucrats having taken control of our beloved country.
How did this happen? Hanson points to a specific policy change. These safeguards were designed specifically to prevent American aid from reaching terrorist organizations.
Hanson argued:
There was nothing about the Biden administration’s policy towards the war in Gaza that made the slightest bit of sense.
This is hard to see as anything but malfeasance. As Gregg pointed out, they removed any ability to look to see where the money was going.
Actually, Mr. Hanson, these acts went beyond malfeasance. This was intentional, therefore this was treason.
The consequences were immediate and devastating;
Without proper vetting, millions flowed to organizations with known terrorist ties.
USAID claimed they maintained oversight of $34 million in cash sent to Gaza. The evidence suggests otherwise.
Are we really supposed to believe they tracked cash in a war zone when they can’t even properly vet their recipients?
The findings have prompted calls for serious legal action. Hanson did not mince words about the next steps required.
He said:
We’ve asked the Justice Department through the State Department and through the DOGE subcommittee to open an investigation and look at who has violated both the material support for terrorism Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and sanctions against designated terrorist entities statutes.

The investigation gained additional momentum when Elon Musk’s team began examining USAID practices.
Their findings have reportedly raised the possibility of criminal charges against those responsible for these oversight failures.
But this is not mere “oversight failures” or administrative errors. These are intentional violations of laws designed to prevent American support for terrorism. The consequences should match the severity of these violations.
The one thousand-plus dead in Israel who include American citizens and citizens of other Western countries must be factored into the Ultimate Accountability.
