It is almost like someone whispered in their ear beforehand. Someone with a vested interest in seeing America’s current administration fail.
Sen. Chris Murphy and other congressional Leftist agitators held a private meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy before his scheduled White House visit with President Trump.
The timing could not be more suspicious—a mere 40 minutes before Zelenskyy’s contentious Oval Office meeting that ended with him being dismissed from the White House.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Democratic lawmakers before his Oval Office meeting with President Trump on Friday, where he reportedly received advice to reject the terms of the proposed mineral deal, according to Sen. Chris Murphy [C/G-CT].
‘Just finished a meeting with President Zelenskyy here in Washington. He confirmed the Ukrainian people will not support a fake peace agreement where Putin gets everything he wants and there are no security arrangements for Ukraine,’ Murphy’s office posted on X at 11:15 am Friday, along with a photo of Zelenskyy at a conference table.
Murphy’s smug announcement reveals exactly what communists/globalists were doing—coaching Zelenskyy to reject the mineral deal that had been painstakingly negotiated by both parties. This was not diplomacy. This was sabotage, plain and simple.
The White House meeting quickly turned hostile after Zelenskyy arrived fresh from his Leftist pep talk. The Ukrainian president had twice previously declined to sign the mineral agreement after initially agreeing to its terms.
This time, he interrupted Trump and Vice President Vance multiple times with new demands about security guarantees.
The scene grew so heated that Trump eventually ended the meeting by dismissing Zelenskyy from the White House. Yet afterward, Zelenskyy showed zero remorse, telling Fox News’ Brett Baier, “I’m not sure we did something bad.”
Of course he did not think he did anything wrong. His Leftist handlers had assured him they would have his back no matter how badly he behaved. And right on cue, they did.
Instead of supporting their own president’s diplomatic efforts, communists/globalists rushed to defend Zelenskyy’s tantrum. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer had the gall to accuse Trump and Vance of “doing Putin’s dirty work.” Rep. Adam Schiff called Trump a “coward.”
Let us be crystal clear about what happened here. A beneficial mineral deal that would have served American interests while potentially ending a costly foreign conflict was torpedoed because the Left could not stand the thought of Trump achieving a diplomatic victory.
They would rather see billions more taxpayer dollars flow overseas than allow this administration to broker peace.
They’ would rather see a foreign war continue than give Trump a win. How is that for patriotism?
The New York Post rightly pointed out that claims of Trump and Vance “ambushing” Zelenskyy fall flat when you realize the Left had already poisoned the well before the meeting even started.
