The swamp creatures in D.C. occupied the last four years building a government that prioritized ideology over efficiency. Remember when government agencies focused on their actual missions instead of forcing employees to sit through endless training sessions about their “unconscious biases”? Leftists never met a social engineering program they did not want to fund with our tax dollars.
A bombshell study has revealed the staggering scope of ideological capture in our federal government under [The Obiden Regime].
Researchers identified a whopping 460 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs spread across 24 government agencies, with taxpayers footing a bill of over $1 trillion.
The comprehensive study, conducted by the Functional Government Initiative and the Center for Renewing America, meticulously documents how DEI principles infiltrated nearly every corner of the federal bureaucracy. This follows the classic Leftist playbook:
– create a crisis,
– throw money at it, and
– then create more bureaucracy to manage the money.

‘The cumulative budget of these programs exceeds $1.1 trillion,’ the report says.
‘However, this figure does not encompass all DEI-related expenditures, nor does it include every program across these agencies.
The findings reveal a substantial increase in DEI spending, largely attributable to policy directives under [The Regime].
The study categorized these programs based on their DEI focus:
– 10 programs exclusively dedicated to DEI (ripe for immediate elimination),
– 144 allocating significant resources to DEI initiatives, and
– 306 incorporating DEI to varying degrees.
Want examples of how your tax dollars were wasted? Look no further than our national defense. The Defense Department apparently thought it was more important to “integrate environmental/economic justice tools” than focus on defending America.
Not to be outdone, FEMA decided it needed to “instill equity as a foundation of emergency management.” Because when your house is underwater during a flood, what you really care about is whether the rescue team has completed their sensitivity training.
The Labor Department pushed to “embed equity in a sustainable manner that recognizes the multiple and overlapping identities held by workers.” Whatever that means. Translation: spend millions on consultants to create PowerPoint presentations about pronouns instead of helping actual workers find jobs.
One particularly egregious example: while Americans struggled with inflation, The Regime spent $40 million on a DEI program at the Treasury Department—the very agency that should be focused on our economic stability. Talk about misplaced priorities!
Wade Miller, Senior Advisor for the Center for Renewing America, did not mince words about the situation:
DEI is deeply rooted throughout all aspects of the federal government, and it needs to be eliminated completely.
President Trump wasted no time addressing this ideological capture of our government. On his first day back in office, he issued an executive order to eliminate what he called “radical and wasteful” DEI “programs and preferences” from the federal government. No ceremonial first 100 days—just immediate action to drain the swamp.
One lawmaker familiar with the meeting told Fox News Digital:
The executive DOGE team is confident, they think they can get $1 trillion. Now, we’ll see, right?

And the thing is, we’re going to make mistakes, but we’re going to correct them very quickly.
The study authors have offered their report as a resource for the Trump administration:
[To] identify, destroy, and permanently remove
DEI from the federal government.
Strong language, perhaps, but fitting for the scale of the problem. Unlike the previous administration, there will be accountability for every dollar spent.
