The following is an installment of Trump-Vance team accomplishments (each article is linked for further info):
1. Art Laffer to Newsmax: Trump Brings ‘Sensible’ Policies on Economy
President Trump is putting through “very sensible, good supply side economic policies,” especially when it comes to government spending, economist Art Laffer, who served as an adviser to former President Ronald Reagan, told Newsmax.
Laffer told Rob Schmitt Tonight Tuesday:
Government spending is a problem.
Further:
Government is important, but not this big of a government isn’t. We need to trim it down a lot, cut it down.
But he disagreed with Schmitt, who said the country is “going through the pain of that process.”
Laffer said:
I don’t think it’s a pain. I don’t think it’s a pain getting rid of dead workers and people who are unproductive and people who squander the resources.
I think those resources belong to me, the taxpayer. And I would much rather see me have [resources] rather than giving it to people who waste it.
Further:
[Trump] has had all of this practical experience. He’s run his own companies very successfully.
And:
The Great Depression was caused by the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act, which caused the crash in the market, which caused the Great Depression, which caused World War II.
He explained:
But Donald Trump is very, very well-versed in the do’s and don’ts of trade. He’s a very smart guy. He’s been dealing with this forever. He was head of a very large international company, Trump International. And you know, he knows how bad these barriers can be.
2. Zeldin Promises to Cut 65 Percent of EPA Spending
Lee Zeldin, a former New York congressman, said the EPA “awarded and spent over $63 billion” last year under Biden.

Further:
In 2025, we’re going to massively reduce that.
And:
To accomplish our core mission, and empower the great American comeback, it actually only requires less than 35% of that total. We don’t want the extra money, and we don’t need it. We won’t be funding left-wing ideological pet projects like the past administration.
Zeldin cited an example of that wasteful spending:
Millions of tax dollars on a museum to praise environmental justice.
Further:
[It’s] the size of a one-bedroom apartment, just blocks from the White House, and costs hundreds of thousands of dollars per year to operate.
And:
And that museum was designed with major gaps in EPA history, mainly between 2016 and January 2021 [the years of the first Trump administration].
Zeldin said he has worked with “the talented team” at the Department of Government Efficiency to find unnecessary spending.
He concluded:
[T]here will be zero tolerance for wasting even a penny of your tax dollars.
***Further, on Wednesday, Zeldin revealed the EPA is gutting the “woke green agenda” policies of The Obiden Regime.
Zeldin said the EPA has put Biden’s “Clean Power Plan 2.0” on the chopping block.
Biden’s plan cracked down on fossil fuel power plants and caused energy prices to soar.
In an announcement, Zeldin said:
President Trump promised to kill the Clean Power Plan in his first term, and we continue to build on that progress now.
In reconsidering the Biden-Harris rule that ran afoul of Supreme Court case law, we are seeking to ensure that the agency follows the rule of law while providing all Americans with access to reliable and affordable energy.
3. Musk Eyes Social Security, Entitlements for Cuts Amid Widespread Fraud
Musk’s estimate for the level of fraud in entitlements far outpaces figures from watchdogs like Social Security’s inspector general, who previously said there was $71.8 billion in improper payments from fiscal years 2015 through 2022. That is less than 1% of benefits paid out during that time period.
Musk also said:
[There were] 20 million people who are definitely dead marked as alive in the Social Security database.
Trump has promised to defend Social Security from cuts, but Musk has described it as “the biggest Ponzi scheme of all time,” and the administration is shutting down some of the agency’s offices.
Musk said Monday federal entitlements:
[Are] a mechanism by which [Leftists] attract and retain illegal [aliens] by essentially paying them to come here and then turning them into voters.
The allegation echoed the “great replacement” theory:
Which claims politicians are trying to expand their power by reshaping the country’s racial demographics.
During the White House interview with Larry Kudlow, who served as an economic adviser to Trump during his first term, Musk seemed to acknowledge the unusual nature of his role in the administration.
Musk said:
Frankly, I can’t believe I’m here doing this. It’s kind of bizarre.
Musk is the world’s richest person and still runs his private enterprises as he advises the president on ways to overhaul the federal government.
He also thanked Trump for his confidence, having said:
Without the president’s support, we couldn’t make any progress here.
Trump has publicly backed Musk and given him extraordinary influence over the federal government. However, the Republican president has indicated a shift in approach, saying that Musk’s team now begin to use a “scalpel” rather than a “hatchet.”
God speed to the Trump-Vance-Musk team.
4. Trump Compares Kentucky Rep. Massie to Liz Cheney—Says He’ll ‘Lead the Charge’ to Get Rid of Him
The confrontation highlights the ongoing tension between party loyalty and individual principles. Frankly, grandstanders must be taught to position their own egos second to the conservative agenda.
On Truth Social Monday night, Trump wrote:
Congressman Thomas Massie, of beautiful Kentucky, is an automatic ‘NO’ vote on just about everything, despite the fact that he has always voted for Continuing Resolutions in the past. HE SHOULD BE PRIMARIED, and I will lead the charge against him.
Further:
He’s just another GRANDSTANDER, who’s too much trouble, and not worth the fight. He reminds me of Liz Chaney(sic) before her historic, record breaking fall (loss!).
The comparison to Cheney is particularly cutting in conservative circles. Cheney, who voted to impeach Trump after January 6, was soundly defeated in her 2022 primary by Trump-endorsed Harriet Hageman before ultimately endorsing Trump’s opponent in 2024. Is that really the company Massie wants to keep?
