Quick Takes from the Past 24-48 Hours

The following is an installment of Trump-Vance team accomplishments (each article is linked for further info):

1. The Left Sues Trump for Mandating Proof of Citizenship to Vote in Federal Elections

The first lawsuit was filed on Monday afternoon by two leftist groups—the Campaign Legal Center and the State Democracy Defenders Fund, then the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Governors Association, and Senate and House Democratic leaders filed a complaint of their own.

Both lawsuits filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia ask the court to block Trump’s order and declare it illegal.

The lawsuit, filed by the Elias Law Group, alleges:

The Executive Order seeks to impose radical changes on how Americans register to vote, cast a ballot, and participate in our democracy—all of which threaten to disenfranchise lawful voters and none of which is legal.

The suit takes issues with Trump’s rules for mail-in ballot receipt deadlines, the “President’s own design preferences” on “congressionally mandated voter registration forms” and “the President’s unlawful effort to upturn the electoral playing field in his favor and against his political rivals.”

They argue that millions of eligible voting-age Americans do not have the proper documents readily available.

However, these documents are required for many other essential aspects of everyday life, such as renting a home.

Depending on which SCOTUS presents to hear this case, the decision may help to return our beloved country to the constitution.

2. Three Words Explain March’s Illegal Border Crossing Numbers

Homeland Security officials told the New York Post it’s easy to explain the decline: “the Trump effect.”

If the border crossings continue to stay at these levels, the US could see the number of illegal aliens hit a low not seen since 1968.

Upon entering office, Trump declared an emergency at the border, sent thousands of additional troops to the region, shut off the asylum system to illegal crossers and commenced a mass deportation effort across the U.S.

With crossings slowing to a trickle, Border Patrol has closed several processing centers used to hold migrants for short periods of time.

Meanwhile, ICE has “maxed out” its detention space and is asking Congress to fund additional beds to support its mass deportation campaign that yielded 32,000 arrests in its first 50 days. (New York Post)

Homeland Security Secretary’s Kristi Noem highlighted some of the administration’s successes in just the first couple months:

We have deported over 120 people that are on the known terrorist watchlist, over 800 [Tren de Aragua] members, and over 100,000 different arrests have been made of criminals.

3. J.D. Vance Burned Obama Crony Spreading a Dishonest Sob Story, Then He Schooled a ‘Reporter’ with Three Basic Facts

The Atlantic, a dishonest far-left rag, ran a sob story about the Trump Administration supposedly admitting it ‘mistakenly’ sent a ‘peaceful’ Maryland father to El Salvador’s infamous mega-prison CECOT. The rag further claimed the man was falsely accused of being a member of MS-13.

Seeing an opportunity to dunk on the Trump Administration, former BHO speechwriter and podcast host Jon Favreau mockingly asked Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Elon Musk for comment on the story.

Vice President Vance happily obliged:

Here is J.D. Vance’s complete response to the liberal reporter, Cheney:

Kyle Cheney, a ‘legal affairs reporter,’ is apparently unable or unwilling to look at the facts here. In 2019, an Immigration Judge (under the first Trump administration) determined that the deported man was, in fact, a member of the MS-13 gang. He also apparently had multiple traffic violations for which he failed to appear in court. A real winner.

It is telling that the entire American media is going to run a propaganda operation today making you think an innocent ‘father of 3’ was apprehended by a gulag. Here are the relevant facts:

1) The man is an illegal immigrant with no right to be in our country.

2) An immigration judge determined he was a member of the MS-13 gang.

3) Because he is not a citizen, he does not get a full jury trial by peers. In other words, he received whatever ‘due process’ he was entitled to.

4. President Trump Investigates States Pushing Secret Trans Agenda in Schools

Each time Trump takes a stand for traditional values and parental rights, the blue state tyrants push back even harder. They believe they have invested too much in their radical agenda to be stopped by democratic rule.

In Maine alone, a shocking 57 school districts reportedly have policies on their books that prevent parents from knowing when their children start identifying as members of the opposite sex. Meanwhile, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed legislation last year prohibiting schools from notifying parents about their child’s gender confusion.

At the heart of this conflict is the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), a federal law that recognizes parents’ rights to access their children’s education records. Blue state officials have twisted this privacy protection on its head, using it as a shield to keep parents uninformed about critical developments in their children’s lives.

The Trump administration’s investigations come as part of a broader effort to restore parental rights in education.

The current investigations reveal just how far the previous administration went to undermine parental authority. Secretary McMahon noted in her letter:

[O]ver the last four years, instead of vigorously enforcing these laws, [The Obiden Regime] neglected the flood of complaints it received.

According to McMahon:

The concept of privacy was perversely inverted to facilitate ideological indoctrination in a school environment without parental interference or even involvement.

The Trump administration’s family-first approach has reminded state education officials, they have legal obligations under FERPA and PPRA that cannot be ignored—no matter how much blue state ideologues might wish otherwise.

5. Musk Targets Congress Members “Strangely” Worth Millions, Promises Investigation

The math simply does not add up. A Congressional salary of $200,000 per year would take 100 years to reach $20 million, and that is without spending a penny!

Yet somehow, these “dedicated public servants” manage to accumulate vast fortunes while supposedly working full-time for the American people.

Could it be that these politicians have been using their positions to enrich themselves? Are they siphoning taxpayer dollars through bloated federal agencies and sweetheart deals? Are they benefiting from insider information to make stock trades that would land regular folks in prison? Remember when Paul Pelosi, Nancy’s husband, made some suspiciously well-timed stock purchases right before major government announcements?

During the recent Wisconsin rally, which was supposed to focus on an upcoming Supreme Court election, Musk could not help but share his plans to investigate these “strangely wealthy” legislators. The crowd of 2,000 cheered enthusiastically—clearly, the American people are ready for some accountability.

This is not just a Democrat or Republican issue – it’s a swamp issue. Wealthy members exist on both sides of the aisle, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi with an estimated $250 million and Senator Rick Scott with roughly $552 million.

Once DOGE’s investigation reveals widespread corruption, may we anticipate the biggest government shake-up in modern history? Imagine career politicians actually being held accountable for using their positions to enrich themselves at the expense of the American people! This is the kind of swamp-draining We the American people want to see.

6. After Judge Blocks Trump Deportations, A Top Republican Throws a Roadblock in His Career Path

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) unveiled a bold resolution which bypasses the impeachment process entirely. Biggs is invoking Article III, Section 1 of the Constitution, which requires federal judges to maintain “good behavior” to keep their lifetime appointments.

Biggs’ resolution would remove Judge Boasberg for his “failure to maintain the standard of good behavior” —using the same simple majority vote process used to confirm judges in the first place.

NOTE: This isn’t Boasberg’s first controversial ruling, either. The Obama appointee has been involved with the Russiagate scandal and is currently assigned to a Signalgate lawsuit. His blocking of deportation flights under the Alien Enemies Act represents what many conservatives see as a clear overstepping of judicial boundaries into presidential authority over immigration enforcement.

The Biggs resolution comes as House GOP leadership is moving ahead with broader efforts to rein in judicial overreach. The House is expected to vote this week on legislation specifically designed to limit the ability of federal judges to issue those pesky nationwide injunctions.
