The following is an installment of Trump-Vance team accomplishments (each article is linked for further info):
1. Trump Admin Freezes $2.2 Billion in Grants to Harvard over Protests
In a letter to Harvard Friday, the administration called for broad government and leadership reforms, a requirement that Harvard institute “merit-based” admissions and hiring policies, and conduct an audit of the student body, faculty, and leadership on their views about diversity.
The demands, which are an update from an earlier letter, also call for a ban on face masks—which appeared to target pro-Palestinian protesters. They also pressured the university to stop recognizing or funding “any student group or club that endorses or promotes criminal activity, illegal violence, or illegal harassment.”
The demands of Harvard are part of a broader push of using taxpayer dollars to pressure major academic institutions to comply with President Trump’s agenda for America and to influence campus policy. The administration has also argued that universities allowed what it considered to be antisemitism to go unchecked at campus protests last year against Israel’s war in Gaza.
2. Pure Comedy—CNN Was Forced to Say This After Trump’s Oval Office Event Monday
Yesterday, President Trump welcomed El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele to the White House. It was a pleasant meeting, but one that led to a media sparring session as CNN and others are obsessed with re-importing an illegal alien the Trump administration deported to El Salvador.
Click below to watch Dana Bash deal with her panties being in a bunch:
Bukele gave an emphatic ‘hell no, we’re not releasing him,’ calling the question preposterous.
NOTE: The court does not have the authority to dictate foreign policy terms to the executive, and this matter is veering into micromanagement of international relations.
And for Conservative America’s added pleasure, President Trump accused CNN of hating America.
It was likely troll bait, but the network took it hook, line, and sinker:
Notably, the network is anti-Trump, however, it is also anti-American. The receipts are exposed here:
‘Western Lensman’ wondered if this was the first time a ‘news’ network had to try to explain to its viewers that it does not hate the country? Once again, we are reminded why the media is mocked and distrusted.
3. Trump Demands CBS License Revocation After ’60 Minutes’ Hit Pieces
The list of manufactured controversies stretches back many years: The Russia collusion narrative, the “very fine people” hoax, the Covington kids, the Hunter Biden laptop dismissal, and dozens more instances where truth took a backseat to preferred political narratives.
This antagonistic pattern has persisted into Trump’s second term, with propaganda media outlets seemingly unwilling to accept the voters’ decision in 2024. CBS News and its flagship program 60 Minutes have maintained their position at the forefront of what Trump’s supporters view as coordinated media opposition.
The latest chapter in this ongoing conflict erupted this past weekend when 60 Minutes aired two segments that drew the president’s ire—one about Ukraine featuring President Volodymyr Zelensky, and another about Greenland that criticized Trump’s interest in acquiring the territory for the United States. The president’s response was swift and unambiguous.
From ‘Truth Social’:
Almost every week, 60 Minutes, which is being sued for Billions of Dollars for the fraud they committed in the 2024 Presidential Election with their Interview of Failed Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris, mentions the name “TRUMP” in a derogatory and defamatory way, but this Weekend’s “BROADCAST” tops them all. They did not one, but TWO, major stories on “TRUMP,” one having to do with Ukraine, which I say is a War that would never have happened if the 2020 Election had not been RIGGED, in other words, if I were President and, the other story was having to do with Greenland, casting our Country, as led by me, falsely, inaccurately, and fraudulently.
Trump also called for concrete consequences, suggesting CBS “should lose their license” and urged FCC Chairman Brendan Carr to “impose the maximum fines and punishment, which is substantial, for their unlawful and illegal behavior.” This extraordinary demand highlights the president’s belief CBS has crossed a line from biased reporting into something he considers legally actionable.
The confrontation between Trump and CBS represents more than a personal grudge—it highlights a fundamental breakdown in the relationship between mainstream media and the American public they purportedly serve. Something must give.
4. Trump to increase Competition in Pharma, Lower Cost of Prescription Drugs
President Trump signed an executive order Tuesday aimed at slashing out-of-control health care costs by removing inefficient government practices and encouraging more competitive drug pricing.
A wide swath of actions are intended to improve the Medicare negotiating system, increasing the “competition for high-cost prescriptions drugs,” and lowering the cost of insulin for low-income individuals. In a press call attended by The Daily Wire, a White House official said:
[E]very action laid out in the executive order is meant to improve the efficiency of drug pricing in the United States.
White House officials said the executive order was intended to leverage “current programs to deliver meaningful cost saving” and to ensure Medicare is receiving the same prices various providers are paying.
A White House Official said:
Hospitals often get heavily discounted drugs, sometimes it’s as low as 35% lower, below what Medicare is paying. There will be instructions in the EO to do a survey and then contemplate rule-making on how to align Medicare payment with the costs of acquisition.
Part of the order includes updating the Medicare drug price negotiation program—to “eclipse” savings from The Regime. The goal is to have 22% savings in the program’s first year.
The administration also hopes to standardize Medicare payments for prescription drugs, including cancer treatments, “regardless of where the treatment is administered,” the White House said.
The Food and Drug Administration is also directed in the order to “streamline” approval of generic drugs and facilitate more importation of drugs from other countries like Canada. And the executive order commissions a report on “anti-competitive” behavior from pharmaceutical companies.
Another one of the key provisions of the EO is resurrecting a program from the first Trump administration that officials say will allow low-income individuals and people without health insurance to get insulin as low as three cents a vial and $15 for injectable epinephrine from qualified providers through the 340b program. This program allows certain health care providers to purchase drugs at significantly reduced rates.
5. China’s Desperate Rare Earth Restriction Shows Trump’s Trade Strategy Is Working
For decades, America’s leaders have suicidally allowed critical resources to become dominated by our chief global rival. President Trump’s strategy of leveling the economic playing field after years of unfair trade practices have decimated American manufacturing and created dangerous dependencies has pushed China to turn off the supply chain of rare earth minerals.
China holds only approximately 30% of the world’s known rare earth reserves, however, Beijing controls a staggering 85% of the processing capacity. This stranglehold represents decades of strategic planning by Communist officials who recognized the future value of these resources long before Western leaders.
From Breitbart:
China has restricted the export of several crucial rare earth minerals to the United States in response to President Trump’s tariff increases. The restrictions come up short of a total ban, but they will probably slow the delivery of minerals needed by defense, energy, and electronics companies.
This calculated move focuses on seven specific rare earth elements: samarium, gadolinium, terbium, dysprosium, lutetium, scandium, and yttrium. These are not random choices—they are predominantly “heavy” rare earth elements used in high-temperature magnets essential for electric vehicle motors, wind turbines, and critical military electronic systems.
The impact is already being felt. Thankfully, President Trump has America finally addressing this critical vulnerability. DoD has committed nearly half a billion dollars to building a domestic “mine to magnet” supply chain for rare earths, having recognized that dependency on our chief global strategic rival for vital minerals undermines national security.
