The following is an installment of Trump-Vance team accomplishments (each article is linked for further info):
1. Trump to Call More CEOs About Listing Tariff Costs
President Trump said Sunday he would reach out to any CEO in the country if he disagreed with them, especially if they were planning to list tariff charges on their products.
Trump last week contacted Amazon’s Jeff Bezos about a report the retail giant was planning to list the impact of 145% tariffs on China as it pertained to certain purchases.
Trump said Bezos and Amazon acquiesced, and the president told NBC News he would do it again.
Further, Trump asserted that tariffs are not supposed to be passed on to consumers:
What people don’t understand is, and this is a lot, the country eats the tariff. The company eats the tariff. And it’s not passed along at all.
However, some American retailers are warning to buy now with the possibility of rising prices in the future due to tariffs.
2. Trump Has Vowed Tariffs on Foreign Movies to Save Dying Hollywood
America is back in the business of making things—“Made in America“—if President Trump has anything to say about it. In his second term, he is relaunching his signature America First agenda with renewed focus.
He has addressed manufacturing, tackled energy and now, Hollywood.
Not everyone in Hollywood is Hollywood.
That’s right. The very industry that flooded social media with anti-Trump hashtags and handed out awards for thinly veiled jabs at his voters is now lined up squarely in Trump’s economic crosshairs. Why? Because, as it turns out, behind the red carpets and “Resistance” speeches lies a massive jobs ecosystem quietly crumbling under foreign outsourcing—and Trump says it is time to bring those jobs home.
He did not use softened words in his Truth Social post:
So yes, Trump may be throwing a lifeline to California—but make no mistake: this is not about Tinseltown’s rich elite. It is about taking care of the men and women behind the scenes who, too often, get scripted out of the national conversation.
Can it work? If nothing else, it forces Hollywood to confront its own contradictions: How can you preach about inequality while willingly sending working-class jobs abroad?
3. Trump Comes Up with New Law and Order Plan, Wants to Rebuild Alcatraz
Remember when criminals actually feared consequences? Those days are back, America.
President Trump has been wasting no time putting America’s safety first. Now, he is taking his law-and-order agenda to the next level with a truly iconic proposal that has liberals clutching their pearls.
Trump posted on Truth Social:
REBUILD, AND OPEN ALCATRAZ! For too long, America has been plagued by vicious, violent, and repeat Criminal Offenders, the dregs of society, who will never contribute anything other than Misery and Suffering.
That’s right—reopen the infamous island prison in San Francisco Bay that once housed the likes of Al Capone and other notorious criminals. Trump is directing the Bureau of Prisons, Justice Department, FBI, and Department of Homeland Security to work together on reopening a “substantially enlarged and rebuilt” version of the prison to house “America’s most ruthless and violent offenders.”
What better place to send a message about serious consequences than by reopening a maximum-security prison literally within view of one of America’s most progressive cities? The symbolism could not be clearer:
[T]he era of coddling vile criminals is over.
Alcatraz 2.0: In Liberal San Francisco’s backyard—We the People can appreciate the poetic justice here.
San Francisco, a city that has become synonymous with progressive policies gone wild, would now have a daily visual reminder of Trump’s law-and-order approach sitting right in its bay.
4. Antisemitic “Prank” Goes Viral, Earns Culprit Suspension from Major University
The tide of antisemitism is turning since President Trump took office in January. His administration has stated clearly the days of universities coddling antisemites are over—Education Secretary Betsy DeVos has promised to withhold federal funding from schools that fail to protect Jewish students.

This week, Temple University in Philadelphia swiftly suspended a student after a disturbing antisemitic incident went viral on social media. The incident involved Mohammed “Mo” Khan, who was identified in videos displaying a sign reading “F*ck the Jews” at a Barstool Sports bar in Philadelphia on Saturday night. The offensive display was met with cheers from some patrons, while others recorded the shocking scene. Seriously, who does this in 2025? Moslems, right?
Temple University President John Fry did not waste time with mealy-mouthed statements. He immediately placed Khan on interim suspension while the university’s Division of Student Affairs conducts its investigation.
Fry stated on Sunday:
In the strongest terms possible, let me be clear: antisemitism is abhorrent. It has no place at Temple, and acts of hatred and discrimination against any person or persons are not tolerated at this university.
NOTE: Previous social media posts surfaced showing antisemitic content from the suspended student. This was not Khan’s first antisemitic rodeo.
The incident gained national attention largely due to the furious response from Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, who is Jewish and owns the bar where the incident occurred. Portnoy initially posted a video expressing his outrage, telling viewers, “I’ve been shaking, I’ve been so f*cking mad,” and promising to track down those responsible.
Portnoy declared in his first video:
I want fcking consequences for fcking actions.
5. DOJ Investigates Blue County Prosecutors for Racial Favoritism
Attorney General Pam Bondi and Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon sent a letter to Hennepin County, Minnesota, Attorney Mary Moriarty announcing their investigation into whether her office “engaged in a pattern of practice of depriving persons of rights, privileges or immunities secured or protect by the Constitution.”

From Justice Department letter:
In particular, the investigation will focus on whether HCAO engages in illegal consideration of race in its prosecutorial decision-making.
What exactly is Moriarty’s office doing? Her recently adopted Negotiations Policy for Cases Involving Adult Defendants explicitly states that “racial identity… should be part of the overall analysis” and that prosecutors “should be identifying and addressing racial disparities at decision points, as appropriate.”
Apparently, in Hennepin County Lady Justice does not wear a blindfold tightly enough, if at all.
Yes, this radical prosecutor ended up in charge of Minnesota’s largest county, due to the help of billionaire George Soros. Like dozens of other progressive prosecutors across America, Moriarty received backing from Soros-funded political action groups.
This is not Moriarty’s first controversy, either. Just last month, she faced backlash for not charging a 33-year-old Minnesota state government employee who admitted to damaging six Tesla vehicles in a politically motivated vandalism spree. Political vandalism gets a pass, but heaven help you if you are the wrong skin color when negotiating a plea deal in Moriarty’s jurisdiction.
The Trump administration’s DOJ investigation is sending a clear message: The Constitution still matters, Lady Justice’s blindfold is non-negotiable, and no prosecutor is above the law—even in deep blue Minneapolis.
