Quick Takes from the Past 24-48 Hours

The following is an installment of Trump-Vance team accomplishments (each article is linked for further info):

1. MAHA Working: “Better-For-You” Consumption Shift Underway

President Trump’s second term will likely be regarded as a major public health inflection point, driven by the “Make America Healthy Again” (MAHA) movement. The initiative aims to revolutionize a broken system rigged against patients—creating disease and then profiting from it—while also targeting reform of the nation’s food supply chain, which is dominated by the processed food industrial complex.

Consumers are shifting and seeking “better-for-you options” at the supermarket.

Analysts expect the MAHA theme to continue:

We expect the ongoing consumption shift towards better-for-you to continue, while investors have also noted caution on snacking, with risks related to rising GLP-1 adoption (including the potential launch of oral options) and regulation changes (e.g., potential SNAP funding cuts for select categories, removal of certain dyes/additives). All in, we see continued tailwinds for natural/organic (Buy SFM) and protein (Buy SFD).

Americans are waking up to the rigged system that profits from our sickness.

2. Trump Demands Investigation into What’s-Her-Name’s “Illegal Payments” for Endorsements Disguised as “Entertainment”

In a fiery post on Truth Social, Trump torched his opponent and her Hollywood cronies, alleging her campaign engaged in illegal campaign finance activities by funneling massive sums of money to entertainers like Bruce Springsteen, Beyoncé, Oprah Winfrey, and Bono in exchange for endorsements under the guise of “performances.”

I am going to call for a major investigation into this matter. Candidates aren’t allowed to pay for ENDORSEMENTS, which is what [she] did, under the guise of paying for entertainment.

In addition, this was a very expensive and desperate effort to artificially build up her sparse crowds. IT’S NOT LEGAL! For these unpatriotic “entertainers,” this was just a CORRUPT & UNLAWFUL way to capitalize on a broken system. Thank you for your attention to this matter!!!

Recall Bruce Springsteen performed at a rally in Clarkston, Georgia—and attacked Trump as “corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous.”

Trump questioned whether the payment Springsteen received was a backdoor payoff for a political endorsement masquerading as a concert.

Trump also targeted other celebrities who supported What’s-Her-Name, including Beyoncé, accusing her of making illegal campaign contributions by performing at her rallies.

In October, What’s-Her-Name’s campaign announced Beyoncé would appear AND PERFORM at a rally in Houston, Texas.

It was all a lie to build a crowd.

The pop star did NOT perform. She barely spoke for a few minutes and left.

Trump stated:

They booed the hell out of everybody. They thought she was going to perform. What happened was my opponent got up and started speaking, and they booed the hell out of her. It’s crazy. They have to use people to get people to come, and then they send buses. We don’t send buses. Everybody comes. We’re just going to make America great again. It’s very simple.

According to a report from The Washington Examiner:

[T]he campaign burned through over $1 billion in funds, Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Productions received $1 million in October for campaign-related services.

In return for this investment, Winfrey hosted a star-studded town hall and spoke at the final rally in Philadelphia before Election Day.

3. Trump’s Poll Numbers Say Everything About the Media’s Dying Influence

There’s nothing much to say here other than The New York Times is seething that Donald Trump’s approval numbers are rebounding. In truth, the president’s approval numbers were never in danger. How many times are they going to do this? These legacy pollsters purposefully underestimate Trump’s strength.

With nowhere to go, the media is saying the president’s approval numbers are stable because people are not paying attention.

Translation: We the People are not paying attention to the mass propaganda media because we do not respect them.

Think about it, this is President Donald J. Trump we are discussing here—EVERYONE follows what he does, EVERYTHING he does. It is not that people are not paying attention. We the People, frankly, do not give a rat’s a** what the propaganda media nor their colluding Leftist weenies think anymore.

No longer can the propaganda media influence public opinion. Their censorship mechanisms within social media have been wiped out. They cannot control anything anymore.

4. Scott Jennings Warns GOP Lawmakers: Oppose Trump’s Bill and You’ll Pay for It

The bill failed to make it out of the House Budget Committee on Friday due to concerns among House Republicans that it did not include enough spending cuts—especially to programs such as Medicaid. However, the measure advanced on Sunday, with the lawmakers who previously voted against it voting “present.”

Jennings suggested if Congress does not get the bill passed before the August recess:

[T]hey’re going to face some hard questions from their constituents who voted for Donald Trump about why you’re not helping him enough to get his agenda enacted.

Those seen as impeding the bill’s passage will certainly earn the wrath of Trump, who will use his bully pulpit and status as leader of the party to target them.

Some of these lawmakers risk primary challenges in the upcoming midterm elections if they push back too harshly against the measure. Indeed, only those who are safe in their districts, such as Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) could likely afford to vote against the bill without much fear of reprisal.

5. ABC Spread ‘False’ News about Qatar Jet and Trump Has Vowed Another Expensive Lawsuit

This is ‘déjà vu all over again’ with ABC stepping on their anatomy once more for good measure.

By stating President Trump would receive a “FREE Boeing 747 Airplane” from Qatar they neglected to follow an often painful aphorism, ‘the devil is in the details.’ President Trump swiftly took to Truth Social to set the record straight, pointing out the significant flaw in their narrative.

He made it crystal clear:

Everyone, including their lawyers, has been told that ABC must not say that Qatar is giving ME a FREE Boeing 747 Airplane, because they are not… this highly respected country is donating the plane to the United States Air Force/ Defense Department, AND NOT TO ME.

So, a generous donation to the U.S. military, a boon for our Air Force, somehow gets twisted into a personal perk for the President. This is a classic case of trying to create a scandal where none exists, and it is precisely this kind of misleading spin that erodes public trust of the propaganda media.

Beyond the immediate correction about the jet, there is a broader context here. President Trump highlighted:

The wonderful country of Qatar, after agreeing to invest more than 1.4 Trillion Dollars in the United States of America, deserves much better than Misleading (Fake!) News.

This is not merely about a plane; it is about respecting international relationships and acknowledging significant economic partnerships that benefit our nation.

When media outlets rush to publish sensational, inaccurate stories, they do not just risk their own credibility; they can also undermine efforts that are genuinely good for America. This false reporting is a stark reminder that the media’s responsibility should extend beyond chasing clicks and pushing agendas. President Trump, by demanding accuracy, is not just defending himself, rather he is also defending the integrity of our national discourse and our country’s interests. His threat to ABC News and his call-out of Disney CEO Bob Iger show he’s serious about holding these powerful entities accountable.

Any ideas how much this will cost ABC?
