As a result of the determination of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), being a leader of Hamas is not a job with long career prospects.
This from redstate.com.
On Saturday, the IDF announced, on its official X account, that they have changed another head of Hamas’ pronouns to “was” and “were“:
We eliminated the Head of Hamas, again. He happens to be a Sinwar too.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, speaking to the Israeli parliament on Wednesday, gave a list of Hamas leaders un-alived by the IDF, and it’s quite a list.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Wednesday that the de facto leader of Hamas, Mohammed Sinwar, has been killed. Netanyahu mentioned the killing in a speech to Israel’s parliament as the U.S. seeks another temporary ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war.
During his speech, Netanyahu listed the names of top Hamas leaders killed during the war and included Sinwar. ‘We have killed tens of thousands of terrorists. We killed (Mohammed) Deif, (Ismail) Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar and Mohammed Sinwar,’ he said.
Netanyahu did not elaborate, and Israel’s military did not immediately issue any new statement on Sinwar’s apparent death.
While there is as yet no information on how this latest Sinwar was eliminated, the IDF tends to prefer missile and smart-bomb attacks for these kinds of operations.
Five hundred pounds of explosives can ruin a Hamas leader’s entire day, after all, and the advantage here is that very little clean-up is required after one of these goblins has been scattered over a large portion of the landscape. This also tends to have a deterring effect on any ambitious young terrorists who may have been eyeing a leadership role. The old military aphorism, “There is no problem that cannot be solved with a suitable application of high explosives,” may well have been proven true once again.
