After Transgender Wins Women’s Medal, Female Athletes Protest Award Ceremony

Across this great nation, each day We the American People are saying “enough is enough.” We are standing up for the simple truths, especially when it means protecting our children and demanding a return to normalcy.

This from thepatriotjournal.com.

And to see commonsense courage in action, look no further than a high school track meet in the People’s Republic of Oregon. This is where two young women chose not to stand by quietly when faced with a situation they knew was wrong.

At the state championship, seniors Reese Eckard of Sherwood High School and Alexa Anderson of Tigard High School, who finished fourth and third respectively in the high jump, made a powerful statement. When a transgender athlete, who had previously competed in boys’ events and tied for fifth place in this girls’ event (behind Eckard and Anderson), was set to share the podium, these brave girls stepped down and turned the other way.

Alexa Anderson explained their rationale perfectly:

We didn’t refuse to stand on the podium out of hate. We did it because someone has to say this isn’t right. In order to protect the integrity and fairness of girls sports we must stand up for what is right.

Footage showed these young patriots being gestured away by an official, but their message was already sent. Their stand did not go unnoticed, earning praise from people like conservative activist Riley Gaines, who tweeted, “Girls have had enough.” And it’s no wonder, considering the transgender athlete in question had competed in boys’ events as recently as 2023 and 2024, according to Fox News. It’s plain to see why these girls felt the need to act when fairness was on the line.

This is not merely a one-off incident. It is part of a growing chorus of young women who are disgusted with seeing their hard work and dedication pushed aside, their opportunities and even their futures in sports threatened by policies that defy logic. These girls are seeing their chances at scholarships and recognition potentially robbed. Groups like the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) are stepping up too. They have filed a Title IX discrimination complaint against Oregon for its laws allowing biological males in girls’ sports.

Jessica Hart Steinmann, AFPI’s executive general counsel, stated:

Every girl deserves a fair shot—on the field, on the podium, and in life.

And this statement is not one with which anyone can sensibly argue.

Thankfully, we have leadership in Washington D.C. that is listening and taking action. President Trump signed the “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports” executive order, and his administration is intent on defending women from this gender ideology nonsense that seeks to erase biological reality. The U.S. Department of Justice has even launched a lawsuit against Maine for its defiance of Trump’s executive order, and the President has suggested federal funding pauses could be coming for states like California if they do not protect fair play. It turns out, most Americans agree.

A recent AP-NORC poll, cited by the Daily Mail, found 7 out of 10 U.S. adults—and 9 out of 10 Republicans—believe transgender female athletes should not compete in girls’ and women’s sports. This is a stark contrast to the policies pushed in some Leftist-controlled states, but common sense, backed by strong leadership, seems to be winning the day.

Final thought: May the Trump-Vance team please take action against the People’s Republic of Oregon.
