Quick Takes from the Past 24-48 Hours

The following is an installment of Trump-Vance team accomplishments (each article is linked for further info):

(NOTE: Relax! We the People may not have even thought of some of this stuff, but the Trump-Vance ‘A’ team is already on top of it.)

1. FBI’s Patel Said Bureau Is Investigating Funding Behind Anti-ICE Riots in LA

FBI Director Kash Patel told Just the News the bureau is investigating the money trail behind those organizing and promoting the demonstrations spreading across the country.

After initial—and largely peaceful—demonstrations in response to several immigration raids in Los Angeles late last week, the anti-ICE protests escalated over the weekend to include more than 1,000 rioters filmed assaulting immigration officers, burning self-driving vehicles, looting, temporarily closing down at least one city highway, and throwing concrete rocks at law enforcement officers.

The images of violent rioters waving Mexican and other foreign flags as cars burned in the background circulated the country and drew attention from the Trump administration and Republicans in Congress.

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) told the John Solomon Reports podcast on Monday:

[N]o doubt foreign influence is driving the protests, at least in part.

Rep. Mark Harris (R-NC) said he fears some of the protesters are being paid, and it is essential for Congress to follow that money trail.

Former FBI Executive Assistant Director Chris Piehota told Just the News the FBI likely began looking immediately into how these violent protests were sparked.

Further:

They get financed around the country to show up at different events and cause problems.

And:

[Y]ou’re gonna see the FBI make a much more aggressive push into some of those areas to cut off their funding and their logistics.

2. Hegseth to Newsmax: ‘We’re Securing’ LA; Newsom, Bass, Won’t

SecDef Hegseth was questioned by House Leftists Tuesday while testifying before the House Appropriations Committee, where he defended the Pentagon’s deployment of nearly 5,000 National Guard members and active-duty Marines to assist the Los Angeles police.

He also stated the use of the National Guard would expand under Trump to defend the homeland.

Hegseth, a former National Guardsman, testified:

I think we’re entering another phase, especially under President Trump with his focus on the homeland, where the National Guard and reserves become a critical component of how we secure that homeland.

Newsom and others from the Left have expressed concerns that the deployments may serve as a test run for urban areas where large protests are springing up over the administration’s immigration enforcement actions.

Final thought: And rightfully so, Mr. Newsom. A “test run for urban areas” will contribute toward the cliche, ‘practice makes perfect.’

3. Trump: June 14 Army Parade Protests Will Be Met With ‘Very Big Force’

President Trump warned people on Tuesday against protesting at the weekend military parade in Washington marking the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary.

The president told reporters in the White House’s Oval Office:

For those people that want to protest, they’re going to be met with very big force.

U.S. Secret Service Special Agent in Charge Matt McCool said on Monday:

Law enforcement agencies are preparing for hundreds of thousands of people to attend Saturday’s parade.

Further:

[T]housands of agents, officers, and specialists will be deployed from law enforcement agencies from across the country.

The FBI and the Metropolitan Police Department have said there are no credible threats to the event.

4. LOOK In the Mirror! J.D. Vance UNLOADS on Gavin Newsom and His ‘Stooge Karen Bass’ and It Is SPECTACULAR

Gavin Newsom is a mess and Karen Bass is a hot mess. They have each been installed rather than having been legitimately voted in, and neither is able to adequately perform their job. Unsurprisingly, they both whined after Trump performed their jobs for them by ordering in reinforcements to LA.

Newsom did what he always does and got all snippy.

That was dumb.

Vance with the TKO.

… fomented and encouraged the riots, because their entire political movement exists for one purpose: to promote mass migration into our country. It is their reason for being. Democratic leadership has no solution for the economy, for prosperity, or for security. They use their power when they’re in the majority to import millions of illegal immigrants and when they’re in opposition they do everything possible to prevent deportations.

Under Newsom’s leadership, medicaid was extended to all illegal immigrants in 2024. This means that he elected to take healthcare from impoverished and disabled Californians and give it to illegal aliens. And now, everything is President Trump’s fault? Give me a break.

If you want to know why illegal aliens flocked to your state, stop accusing Donald Trump. Look in the mirror.

If you want to know why border patrol fear for their lives over enforcing the law, look in the mirror.

It was your policies that encouraged mass migration into California. Your policies that protected those migrants from common sense law enforcement. Your policies that offered massive welfare benefits to reward illegal immigrants. Your policies that allowed those illegal migrants (and their sympathizers) to assault our law enforcement. Your policies that allowed Los Angeles to turn into a war zone.

You sure as hell had a problem before President Trump came along.

The problem is YOU.

5. Summer of Jihad—What Is Happening in LA Will Quickly Begin to Happen All over the Country
