Chinese Communist Party Linked to U.S. Climate Policy Through Nonprofit Network, Watchdog Finds

Foreign money is quietly working to shape American policy.

For years, billionaires from overseas have funded American organizations that push radical ideas. These groups look home-grown on the surface, but a closer look often reveals foreign ties.

Now a shocking new report connects the dots between Chinese money and America’s green energy push. The web of influence stretches from Beijing to Washington D.C., touching everything from gas stoves in your kitchen to solar panels on your roof. But the real goal might surprise you.

Just the News reported:

[A] national security watchdog group has exposed the Chinese Communist Party’s role in America’s climate policy.

The group, State Armor, found that a nonprofit called Energy Foundation China (EFC) has deep ties to the Chinese government while funding U.S. climate groups.

From Just the News:

‘This isn’t environmentalism—it’s economic warfare. The Chinese Communist Party is using American nonprofits to make us dependent on their supply chains, from solar panels to EV batteries, while our policymakers walk straight into the trap,’ said Michael Lucci, CEO of State Armor, which produced the report.

The report reveals the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is using climate change as a weapon. By pushing America away from oil and gas, China gains control over the supply chains for solar panels and electric car batteries.

It is not about saving the planet

it’s about making America weaker.

State Armor CEO Michael Lucci explained this:

[Creates] a dependence on our side and deprives us of a natural strength, which is our energy independence.

The strategy is working. America increasingly relies on Chinese-made green technology.

The dangers go beyond economic dependence. Recent reports found unauthorized communication devices hidden in Chinese-made solar panels.

Lucci warned:

So why would that be there? So Beijing could shut things off over here.

The Energy Foundation has funneled millions to American climate groups. It gave $350,000 to the Rocky Mountain Institute, which produced a study claiming gas stoves cause asthma—research that fueled efforts to ban gas appliances in American homes.

Even more shocking are the people running Energy Foundation China. The CEO, Zou Ji, previously served in China’s National Climate Change Strategy agency. Another leader worked for Beijing’s Environmental Protection Bureau. This is not just foreign funding—it is foreign officials shaping American policy.

And this fits a broader pattern of Chinese influence in America. Another recent case involves Neville Roy Singham, a China-based billionaire who funds radical groups in the U.S.

According to the New York Post:

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna has demanded Singham testify before Congress about his CCP connections.

Some of these Chinese-funded groups have been linked to violent protests and riots. The Party for Socialism and Liberation, connected to Singham’s network, helped organize recent anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles. Where are the investigations into these connections? Why aren’t the Left demanding answers about foreign money funding lawless riots on American streets? We the People know the answer to that question.

Alex Goldenberg, senior advisor to the National Contagion Research Institute, explained:

These groups do not operate independently. They share leadership, funding, and a unified ideological mission.

Jason Isaac, CEO of the American Energy Institute, called out the real agenda:

From solar panels to EV batteries and rare earth minerals, our supply chains are increasingly entangled with a foreign adversary that uses forced labor, ignores environmental safeguards, and openly aims to dominate the global energy future. This is not progress—it’s dependence.

State Armor has asked Congress to investigate, writing to Rep. James Comer and Sen. Chuck Grassley about this “grave and ongoing threat to our national security.” They have urged the Department of Justice to investigate the Energy Foundation as a foreign agent.

But where’s the outrage from the Left who claim to care about foreign influence in our politics? Why aren’t they demanding prosecutions of those who take Chinese money to fund radical activities in America? Perhaps because their green agenda benefits from this foreign push.

Americans deserve to know who is really behind our nation’s energy policies and street protests. True national security demands energy independence—not dependence on a hostile foreign power. It is time for Congress to follow the money and expose this economic warfare for what it really is.
